If you like the original CSI series, you'll like NCIS. Great diversity of characters - each with their own eccentricities. The character "quirks" are endearing and the shows humor makes this work on multiple levels. Limiting the story lines to the military adds to the show rather than detracts. It will leave you wishing you'd bought all six seasons at once!

Just picked-up Season 1 of NCIS because i completely missed out on alot of stuff just watching it on CBS and USA Networks, but now that i own the Season one DVD's i have to say this show is extremely awesome from the get-go.

I fully enjoyed watching the first season - I had never really watched this show and am glad I watched the first season - fast paced, humorous, yet serious; characters work well together. very different from the CSI series, but it catches you from the beginning and you have to continue watching. Mark Harmon continues to show his amazing talent

I wanted to see this show from the very beginning and always missed shows on TV. With the great price of this DVD set at Best Buy - I couldn't pass it up!

Based on a recommendation, I started watching this show. It is well written, the characters are interesting, and it definitely keeps my attention. This was a great purchase for me.

I enjoy the series NCIS, the manner they go about solving mysteries. The process of purchasing through BestBuy was excellent.

NCIS is one of the best shows on tv right now. Even in the first few seasons it was so well written, and the interactions between the characters has always been fantastic.

I was able to set my girlfriend down and she picked up almost the full jest of the series in watching a couple of episodes.

Love this TV series! I have Seasons 1 - 6 so far. Watch the re-runs on TV, you'll get hooked too!

Ncis is one CBS best shows ever. it is an action mystery. if you like to be kept guessing you'll love this.

This DVD is a blast from the past. A long time since seeing Season 1.
