Went to Best Buy looking for a robotic vacuum and found a great deal on the Neato Botvac

This was our second Neato vacuum purchase. Generally, you don't buy two of something if you don't like the first. This vacuum cleans on its own every Saturday. It cleans under the beds, it cleans tight to the walls, and it cleans in nice very straight patterns. Looks like a professional came in a cleaned my home. Love it!

Love it, seems to find all the dust, debris and dog hair, does not miss a spot!!! It is a little noisy on tile floor and you have to watch for it from time to time as it will work its way into places and get stuck. Very happy with the product.

This thing is fantastic. I have 3 large dogs and set it to run every day and it does so entirely on its own. I hardly ever have to vacuum anymore and I only purchased this time supplement between regular vacuuming. It's almost entirely taken this chore over. I've run it every week day for weeks now and only a few times its gotten stuck. No big deal; it'll get it the next day!

Pretty good vacuum for when you just don't want to do it!! It does have a mind of its own at times for be sure to pick up your sneakers and loose strings. Dirt bin is pretty big so that's a plus and funny to watch it try ti find its home base.

This vacuum is a workhorse! It cleans great on carpet and solid surfaces. I do wish they had better barriers other than the magnetic strips. Their customer service is outstanding!

The vacuum works very well, no issues. It gets stuck under the bed occasionally but not often.

My wife has been wanting one of these for a while, after much research and talking to friends, it was clear that Neato was the brand to get. After using this a few times, we really like it. It does a good job and for all of you OCD people out there (like myself), the Neato is for you! I like how it starts on the outside of a room and then goes in straight lines to clean. Unlike some of the other well known robotic vacuums'.

This thing is so much better than the other robotic vacuum we had! It truely learns and it also doesn't have to hit things to know to turn! No more damage to my home!

I purchased a D80 Botvac to replace a Neato XV-21 that lasted about 3 years. Though I could have had the XV-21 fixed fairly cheaply, I decided to upgrade to the latest technology. The D80 is a definite improvement over the XV-21 in performance. A larger dust bin and improved battery life were noticable improvements. I like the way the Neato vacuum defines a precise vacuum pattern unlike some of its competitors that appear to randomly bump around a room until everything is covered. The D80,, like the ones before it, uses a magnetic strip to keep the vacuum out of places it shouldn't go. As it happens, the couch and large chairs I own have rather high feet, and the D-80 can go partially under them, but not completely. On occasion, we've left home and when we returned, we found the vacuum stuck under one of the chairs at the highest part. To avoid that, we cut the magnetic strips into short sections and put them a short way under the furniture so that when the D-80 attempts to go under, the magnetic strip causes it to turn away. In short, I am very pleased with the improvements in the D-80 over the XV-21, and am very happy with its performance.

I bought this as a gift and the recipients continuously rave about how awesome it is. I have a different model and I agree. So glad my recipients love their gift!

Better than I expected...we have two dogs and it cleans the floors great and along the edges. Sometimes will miss a corner, but has never gotten lost in our house. Battery last longer than I thought it would as well and definitely worth buying the version that maps out the rooms; otherwise, it would take all week to clean the floors. Overall, the ability to perform some other task while it's vacuuming is great!!!

I've tried the Bobi (Bob sweep) and this Neato, the Neato is far superior to the random algorithms that the cheaper bots use! Very happy with my purchase.

Just press the button and relax, excellent vacuum cleaner, long battery, go automatically back to base to recharge, doesn't go down if there is a stairs..on display tells instructions if you need to empty removable box with the dirt.. highly recommend!! I bought two, one for me 3 years ago, and one for my friend after that.. Perfect.

It move around pretty good. It does get stuck in certain places. I have learned how to keep it from getting stuck. Now it vacuums everyday with no issues.

Very happy with my purchase. This vacuum works very well and navigates my house with ease. Has great suction on both tile and carpet. Easy to clean out the dirt tray.

My dream come true! Amazing machine i have to say. I think this is a second generation of its kind and it exceeds my expectations in every level. It is very smart yet very easy and simple to configure and program. Pretty quiet too which is amazing considering its vacuum power. Very flexible. It even moves its rear wheels/body up and down to reach/escape from tight spots. Highly recommended.

I have bought multiple robot vacuums and this one I feel senses the most of the surrounding and doesn't just keep running into every single surface over and over. It also covers the whole downstairs floor effectively and does not just stay in one area. Downside is that it gets stuck on every bar stool and some unique areas of our home. If you spend the time to place your bar stools and use shoes to block certain areas it works really well. The sensor strip absolutely do not work to wall off certain areas and rooms..... No idea what that is supposed to do.

The Neato Botvac D80 does an excellent job of cleaning my carpet in a two-bedroom apartment. It automatically returns to its dock to recharge and completes the cleaning when it has recharged. It then again automatically returns to the dock. It appears to map the floor so it can find its way around in future cleanings. Its shape allows it to get into corners.
