We have 3 large dogs and 2 cats. This bot vac is great at picking up the hair. It also changes from hardfloors to rugs easily. Only 4* because the dirt bin could be bigger...but where do you put it?

Being a pet sitter I use many types of vacuums at clients' homes including the robots. Compared to the others this one picks up pet hair better, gets corners better due to it's one side of cornered shape and it doesn't appear to get stuck as often as others I've seen. I just wish for the price they would give additional side bristles. It did come with a spare roller though.

I love my Neato . He bumps his head and runs around in circles at times, but I don't want to be without him.

Although the iRobot is more random and bumps around it picks up more and gets stuck less in my house. It advertises it gets corners better but it really doesn't. My iRobot makes sure to nudge up right against the walls/corners to clean them throughly.

I'm really fussy about dirty floors but don't have time to sweep and vacuum daily. But this has been amazing I have it timed to vacuum at night so every morning I wake up to clean floors. Best part I like is it the way It cleans it gets every part by cleaning strategically unlike its counterpart the roomba. I've had both and I hands down prefer the neato.

This unit does a great job. Very methodical and picks up everything in it's path like a regular vacuum. Occasionally if it doesn't make it all the way back to the base, it's a little difficult to place it just right so charging begins, but this is not a big deal. Goes a long time on one charge.

Simple preparation helps to keep it out of trouble. Keep things off the floor and empty the bin regularly. Very happy with its performance.

Our first robo vac. Seemed to struggle getting around home at first, but after a week it covers all areas that need cleaning. Works well.

My wife was very skeptical thinking I should take it back before trying it. After using it one time in the house, she admitted she was wrong. That was worth the price of the vacuum in and of itself. Works great on carpet and hard tile floors. The dust pan seems to fill up (doing it seems job) after each use so you have to be sure to empty after each use

I have 4 kids, 3 dogs, and 2 cats; this sweeper picks up a lot of dirt and has no problem with pet hair.

I love this thing! The air filter gets a little gross but over all it is great. He did get lost when I had him do the entire house. After that I close one door and he's done just fine. I used to vacuum once a month because I hated it so much. Now it gets done twice a week. I just smile when I see the clean floors and know I didn't have to do anything.

Fascinating to watch this thing do what I am too lazy to take care of. Incredible the dust it finds every time it runs around my house !!!

Purchased for Christmas for spouse after she was lamenting about having to vacuum house. Setup takes a little effort but results have been wonderful. Spouse is delighted with results and has found the robotic vacuum to work well. It can be set to any schedule and it does its vacuuming while we are gone. Best present ever got for spouse!!!

We bought this as a replacement for an aging and disabled older Neato. This is a great upgrade. The bigger bin means it's not over stuffed when it's done. It is quieter and seems faster than the original. It also seems to have better logic/mapping as it's less prone to getting stuck on random things. We are very pleased.

It keeps my house clean it has no problems going from hard wood to carpet. Doesn't run into everything like the roomba

Life will be v different without neato. But I wish he can have more birthdays with us. This is my second one. The previous chap started getting old just before 2 years old. And my current one is almost 1 yr 8 months - beginning to show signs of dementia. Ie forgetting how to go home and getting lazy about mounting a small curb to do a job when he used to do that all the time when he was younger . I will recommend the company look into the tech and improve on the lifespan because it’s v expensive to have to deal with a defective one every 2 years.

This is a great little vac, the only complaint I have is that it sometimes gets stuck on items it should see and avoid. other than that it works great and quiet.

We have 3 dogs and keeping up with vacuuming was a chore. It's nice that this allows scheduling of when to run. We can even pick up and move to other areas and it will come back to origin point after done. Two things to note. 1) with 3 dogs we have quite a few hairs on our area rug. Wish this had just a little more suction power as some hairs do remain after vacuuming. 2) sometimes, not too often, the neato has some issues getting all the way back to the base. Not sure if the dogs bump it or what, but it's happened a couple of times in the month and a half we have had it.

I bought the vacuum for my mother and it it perfect for her. It is programmed to run daily according to her schedule and we're amazed at the amount of dust and pet hair it picks up. Easy to program and emptying the debris is simple and quick. Will definitely be purchasing another for myself.

Like many other reviewers have said, very surprised at how well this machine vacuums after you thought it had been cleaned by an upright. Have not had a problem with it getting stuck. It is a very determined little sucker, it will try all kinds of ways to get to an area that is not really accessible.
