I have 2 dogs and a new baby, and this vacuum helps with all the nonstop dog hair that shows up on our dark hardwood floors. Highly recommended! It's a lifesaver!

Love this item.It does a great job in my condo that has hard wood in every room. Only problem is it is a little loud. But have already recommended to friends.

It goes to work everyday day. I come home and can really tell how much cleaner the floors are. Well worth the cost.

Neato vacuum is a great product and would recommend but only if you keep clutter like cords and stuff picked up.

I call him Jeeves! I love lounging on my couch while he does all the work. He cleans four rooms with only one recharge needed. He picks up all the cat hair my old cat sheds and the dirt bin holds a surprising amount. I love Jeeves!

Doesn't work well at all. It skips and enbattery doesn't last.

I received an error code after using the vacuum for 2 minutes. Made several attempts to clear the code each time it would return after about a minute of use. I returned it the next day. Very disappointed in the product considering it's price. I would recommend researching other vacuums of this type before purchasing.

This Neato cleans my entire floor in the middle of the night. I only have to empty the dirt bin. I have a cat and never see hair on the floor.

The neato has made cleaning my house a task that I can do while doing other things. No longer do I have to vacuum every room or floor. Just turn the neato on and let it do the work.

Works great. I'm scared of future maintenance. I don't want to replace belts, brushes, or have the unit get clogged. I burned out debris with a torch lighter.

Love how it senses danger and rolls over, around and into items instead of sucking them up and breaking.

If I'm going to fork out this much money for something, I'll research it as much as I can. I'll watch youtube videos and read customer reviews. Granted, a lot of people expect perfection and will trash the product when they don't get it. I was a bit skeptical when considering a robotic vacuum. I have a large Golden Retriever who comes and goes through a dog door. Needless to say, he tracks in a lot of dirt and weeds, not to mention constant shedding. I would typically clean my carpet every weekend and would literally fill the container of my vacuum every week. I was a bit concerned about the holding capacity of the Neato XV, or any of the other units. That is why I chose to purchase from Best Buy. Their customer service is great to deal with, and local, even though I could have saved nearly $60 if I'd ordered online. I figured that if this wasn't a good fit for my needs, I'll return it. So far, I've been using the Neato XV every day for a week. I'm amazed at the amount of dirt and hair that's picked up each time! It does a great job of covering every inch of the rooms I allow it to go. I already have a iRobot Braava that sweeps and mops my hard floors, which is fortunate because the XV is considerably louder on hard surfaces. On the initial outing, the XV ran the perimeter of my living room and returned for a battery charge. Holy cow, this could take a while. However, as the instructions say, the battery life will improve after the first few outings. It also got stuck in a couple places… wedged under my recliner, wedged under the stair railing, high centered on a floor lap base… but once you learn these areas, you can keep it from happening again. Now, the unit runs about 40 minutes before returning for a charge. It takes about 2 hours to recharge before heading out to finish the job. I've ordered the replacement pet hair brush/filter combo, as well as an extra magnetic strip online. The magnetic strip will be cut down and placed under the recliner and stair railing to keep the XV from getting stuck in the future. A little extra prep doesn't bother me, after all, I have robots doing my floors! I don't use the auto program feature because the holding tank needs emptied after each and every use. I'm very pleased with the purchase… so far.

First off I do not write reviews, because of all the research I do on my own. However one of the things I research is product reviews, so here goes. I had used and returned another make the same day before picking this up, not because it did a bad job, I just couldn't really determine whether it was doing the whole floor or if it was missing spots and for the money I want to know for sure. Day 1; I opened the box and plugged it in and about 2 hours later it was vacuuming the house. I watched fascinated for about an hour while also watching a hockey game, as it made its way around the living room (carpet#, dining room #laminate#, and kitchen #tile#. Whenever it seemed to get hung up #once) near the TV stand, it found its way out within 30 seconds or so but it had me worried #haha) that I would need to get off my butt and actually make some personal effort to free it so it could keep cleaning while I watched TV, but low and behold, I didn't have to move. Picked up a lot of dog hair even though I had ran the other robot just prior to returning it. Set the schedule to run every AM @ 8:15. Day 2; Started on schedule, and I went to work. I do work out of my home so I can still keep an eye on it but I didn't babysit it this time and kinda forgot about it. Went to get a cup of coffee in the kitchen and found that it had returned to its base to recharge, and it seemed to have learned where the TV was where it had gotten hung up for a bit the day before, because the lines around the TV stand were perfectly symmetrical and all the pile of the carpet was in perfect little 4'x4' logical patterns. Heard it start again after a while and it finished from where it had left off. Bought the 4 year warranty, I'm out a little cash, but I have one less thing to mess with, and if I figure out the lifespan of the vacuum #4 years because of the warranty# it's gonna cost about 2 bucks a week for 1 less headache. A lot cheaper than a housekeeper. I will still run the big vac every month or so if need, but that's probably about it. If you get one of these and you're like me, you'll feel a lot better with one less thing on your plate. If you're so lazy your worried about having to untangle the curtains from its rollers, you're probably not vacuuming near the curtains now, and your house probably looks like it. The naysayers were what had me worried, but no need, this thing works great, and is well worth it. I did my homework and it paid off. Hope this persuades you if you're on the fence. Thanks Best Buy

Robot works well for the most part. Sweeping is 8/10. Robot self run 7/10 as it will get stuck in place and stop when it can't figure out how to move. Had to send the unit back after 1 yr because screen display broke and another unit had the laser unit malfunction for its detection of objects. Thank you for Bestbuy Geek squad protection, well worth $40/4 yrs.

Neato is one of few purchases of which I can ay I am extremely satisfied. It does not clog with pet hair and it runs and runs and runs without ever replacing batteries. We use it every day. Amazing how much dust and hair it picks up. As instructed, we added magnet tape to places it could get jammed, which now prevents it from getting stuck under certain furniture.

I bought my neato 8/2014 and I have been having problems with the battery needing to be reset constantly or it doesn't work. That means unscrewing both battery access plates and disconnecting the battery to reset it. I have emailed neato customer support and it's like pulling teeth to get help. They just responded that I have to pay to ship their defective product back, and provide a receipt. I took a screen shot of my best buy purchase history and that wouldn't work. Not worth the money or time if you buy this product. I need to buy two more robot vacuums for my house and it will not be neato
