By the way the only reason the steering wheel doesn't work is because criterion hasn't been able to make the game compatible with logitech software yet but other controllers that are not logitech should work. THIS IS A MUST GET GAME

be the cop or the racer.... after that go online and play with 7 other people....... excellent game

I am not a huge racing fan but enjoy one once and awhile. I decided on this over Gran Turismo 5 because I liked the cops chasing part/running from the cops. I am not that good though so it is kinda tough which is why I put difficulty at 5 - excellent. More I meant that it was a tough game to win races. Unfortunately it doesnt have spit screen which makes no sense to me. That would be so much fun to chase your friends/vice versa. I wish it was just a little bit more like Burnout Paradise... with the interactive free roam instead of just driving around bored to death... I would recommend this to a friend ONLY if you are an avid racing fan... or if you love cop chases

I really like this game but I'm saying this only for the arcade type racing game lovers. If you want realistic get Gran Turismo 5. I have both. Each has there own kind of genre. One is about trying to either escape cops or destroy Interceptors. Gran Turismo 5 is just a completely realistic simulator that is also a VERY excellent game. One thing. They made the game a little to easy. The drifting is very unrealistic. Tap the square button and you car spins out of control. Still, its a great game.

I bought this game and went directly home to play the game. This game wasn't good at all. It was so bad that within the first hour i went on Amazon and sold it right away and made a this best buy account to write a review. One of the things that disappointed me was that, i couldn't customize any cars. Also you HAVE to use NOS to win a race because apparently CPU player can go 60-150 in like 2 seconds w/o Nos. The only thing thats good about this game are the graphics.

Very fun online all around great game would make my friends buy it

I have to congratulate Criterion Games for the job they have done on NFS Hot Pursuit. I look at it as a reimaging of the original Hot Pursuit. The physics are close enough to real but with the fun of an arcade racer. There are some limiting factors (no online free roam for one) that I hope CG will rectify with their well known support. And I look forward to the game expanding through DLC. And Best Buy's order pickup in store went without a hitch.

Cars are great (sadly no Ferrrari's), super fun and my kids love it too. Easy for them to play as well.

This is a fun game you get to level up and earn new cars, it's what driving game should be like. GT5 is "too realistic" its like driving a real car which in my opinion defeats the purpose of playing a GAME. If you want a driving simulator get GT5 if you want a driving game get NFS HP.

This is an awesome game! Plenty of action and speed to keep you entertained for hours. I love it!

I love this game and can't even put down the controller. A great buy for fun and entertainment, but should have gone for the Black Friday deal when I had the chance, oh well! Anyway, I highly recommend it!

The only thing that makes this game even remotely fun, was the fact you could be the cops in really cool cars. When Gran Turismo 5 came out, the game never saw the console again. It's like comparing the most futuristic video game to an Atari game. I sold it after 3 days time.

The fact your music plays everywhere in menus is great unlike Gt5 it just plays when you race. The crashes are spectacular along with the progressive damage they put alot into the damage its real looking unlike GT5.

good game however just like every PS3 game a little expensive buut that is where they make their money, not from selling the game system itself.

Santa gave this to my 11 year old son...and he loves it! Not disappointed whatsoever. The only thing I think he would like more is if you could customize more and/or even create your own car (maybe you can but he just hasn't unlocked that feature yet).
