Great need for speed game, could be better with customization on cars, or at least the body of the cars. Try not to have too much fun!!!!!

This is a great version of NFS. Criterion is the developer (also made Burnout games, which are equally awesome) and they've done an amazing job with the sense of speed, amazing crashes and spot on controls. The single player game is fun as a cop or a racer and there's plenty of different game types to keep it interesting for a long time. The online really shines with the same single player campaigns except with real humans, which makes it ten times more fun and unpredictable. I loved this game so much I actually bought a copy for a friend so he would get in to it. Great graphics. Great racing. Great game. MUST BUY for racing fans.

this game looks fun, its got nice graphics and car. But there is little freedom with boring tracks, delayed and overexagerated steering, not splitscreen!:(, and you dont earn money to buy cars you just move up this non exciting scale and get a new car about every race. When you race civies are easy to hit, you even get close it thinks you ran into them. not to mention there is a 5 sec cut scene every mile which helps suck the fun out of the races. unlike the old hot persuits, you dont get to pick you maps and earn money for cars, and its impossibel to tell where to go on short cuts that are almost longer than the acctual course! if you're not a really good racer this is not a game for you, if you are i still wouldn't recommend it. (if only you could return video games) >:(

This game has amazing graphics and smooth gameplay. For the most part it is easy, but it IS entertaining to play. It will keep you occupied for a while trying to beat the missions.

Criterion games take on NFS:HP was very well put together. From the beginning when you start, you do not want to put down the controller. I enjoyed running from and with the police in the Multiplayer online. There is free roam which is great for taking in the sites and learn the road. I am upset that there isn't car customization, but does not stop me from continuing to play the game. The level of difficulty is great as you progress through the game

I think NFS Hot Pursuit was a great driving game. It kept me on the edge of my chair while chasing down illegal racers or trying to escape from Secrest County PD. Best Buy did a great job of getting my store pickup order at a good time (it didn't take long after processing my order). One of my favorite things about the game was Photo Mode. Photo Mode allowed you to take professional pictures within the game which I thought, as a photographer want-to-be, was great. There is also a wide variety of cars and the controls are somewhat simple. I hope you love the game too!

If you are a fan of the Need For Speed Series then this is a must have. I personally was a fan of the first debut to the 360 (Most Wanted) game, and this by far and large is the best game EA has released. You can spend endless hours chasing racers or be the actual pursuer yourself. Get it! Get it! Get it! It's a definite must have.

This game is a lot of fun. Constantly opening up new content as you go. The best feature is the online portion. Getting notifications when your friends beat your time is great and pushes you to try harder. Online play with your friends is a ton of fun and really adds to the replayability of the game. It just doesnt get old.

The handling of the cars are not realistic at all. every corner you drift.. The races are boring. Being a cop is only fun for about five minutes and most of them are just timed races. I have never wanted to return a game till now. All hope is lost for anything good coming from NFS in the future. If you like Forza motorsport 3 don't wast your money on NFS.

I thought many of the need for speed games were really good. Not this one. It plays out like a story then sets up the racer into missions/races that have no story or plot. Example, prove your self worth by driving from point A to point B. Really? Wow some skill this will take. Not to mention the camera is at a really weird angle so it is hard to see the road past your own car and even when you switch angles it is impossible to see anything at 200+ miles an hour, so you will hit everything on the road and off. Another thing that really sucks is they tried to make it like facebook, where one can link up to the web and share pictures they take while driving and it will automatically place you up against other races with your same "style." Who cares! If one of my friends sent me a picture he took in a video game I would never speak to him again. Sorry NEED FOR SPEED your video game is not that cool, will never be that cool, and because you failed to meet your fans expectations I hope this game flops.

great acarde racer. A lot of fun. Great multiplayer and single player action. Only downfall is no local multiplayer

I am a big fan of Need for Speed game series. This game is fun to play! Graphics are great and the choice of races is impressive. I wish I could still purchase upgrades for my car like it used to be in older NFS games.

Continues the brand in a good way. If you like racing games this is the game for you. Have fun.

Game play is quick and easy to setup. Online play is smooth and exciting.

The new version of Hot Pursuit, is a great game so far, though I have only played the demo not the full game. The game looks like it going to be a great racer, with lots of customization and online fun.!

An enjoyable game, very much like Burnout. I would recommend this one to anyone that likes racing games. The only issue I have seen is that the online seems to be unreliable. I get dropped out and some nights it does not work at all. Hoping EA and Criterion get this ironed out.

I have not bought a need for speed game in a very long time. I had rented them only to find them not to my liking. But the layout and different modes in this one are very fun and pretty tough to pass as well which is great.

I remember playing hot pursuit 2 back in the day and it being fun. That's the whole reason I got the game and was severely disappointed in the way the game felt. I get that the cars should have an arcady feel to them since its a fictional place and your outrunning the cops but the best handling cars in the world drive like a wet sponge and are only marginally better than the lowest cars in the game. And no cars don't magically go into controlled power slides when you let off the gas. Other NFS games such as carbon and pro street were at least livable. If your into cars and racing its just too fake but if your just looking to see which one of your friends can outrun the cops its most likely a really fun game.
