    Keeps saying to verify ownership through Origin, which is where I launched the game from. Save yourself the 10 bucks and don't bother buying

    You need to redeem it via EA website (create a EA account if you do not have one), then download the origin application. Alternatively, head to activate.ea.com, log in to your Origin account and enter your product code on the Redeem Your Code page. After you redeem the game will be sitting under the My Games Library. The game works fine, just redeem it via EA.

    This purchase no longer works since EA changed client. BestBuy will gladly take your money for nothing though, :/
