This is a fine addition to the Need For Speed franchise. My only complaint would be that this one, along with the others made for the PS4 and PS3 are single-player. I miss playing with friends. You can, of course, play online, but that's not really my thing. Good graphics, and good handling when you get the hang of where the heck you're going, lol. Anyway, it's a fine game.

First game I played on the PS4 so my hopes were high for a great new system. Intro video had some great graphics but it was long and you had to watch the whole thing. Easy to start playing and the scenery looks amazing. A lot of fun to play. Driving around in the open map is a cool concept I'm glad they used again. Driving around and in races the game is great, but saving points and navigating the menus is time consuming.

It is not like your everyday race game boring track going round and round. This one is a lot of fun being able to explore without being timed and being able to check out the many different secret places to go, jumps to hit and what not. It is pretty awesome doing that and it may not be timed but if a cop sees you you have to get away and that keeps the excitement going. It is a very fun game to play and keeps you wanting more! For the price it is hands down one of the best ones out there...

I am a big fan of the Need for Speed game series, and am happy to say that Need for Speed Rivals is a good addition to the series.
The "rivals" feature of having in-game players to compete against is interesting, throwing a unique wrench into the gameplay. The open world is large enough and feels well done, though at times it does feel a little too large.

This game is gorgeous. It makes Forza look like some kind of goofy cartoon. The car selection is fun. If you're just starting this game, you're going to have a hard time until you get higher ranks and better cars. If you wreck your car, you will have a 5 second crash scene where you will just sit and stare at your car while the rest of the racers continue on. Extremely frustrating to crash once and not be able to do anything to get back on the course. The controls can't be changed. If you don't like the button configuration, you'll have to suck it up. Also, the multiplayer world is barren. 6 players max on a huge map all going about their own missions. You never have any involvement with anybody else. Its actually very lonely. I don't understand how NFS games seem to do one thing really well in each game. In this game its the graphics. But they don't look back at each of their games, pick the highlights and come up with the ultimate racer. Its like they don't use lessons learned from previous titles. Oh well, mildly entertaining, frustrating many times over and over all I can't recommend the $60 it costs.

The game is, simply put, fun. Doesn't excite too much but the gameplay is good and the cars look great. If you like to race, then you'll like this.

This game is great, i really enjoy playing although i wish they put a little more emphasis on the soundtrack. I think there are 4-5 songs that play on a loop, so if you play for a while it gets old. The actual gameplay is great with many challenges, cars, and upgrades.

Reminds me of when I was young playing these games on PlayStation. You can be the cop or the racer. Both parts are fun!! I mean who doesn't like a racing game you can have high speed chases in?! Bought two one game for my husband (age 33) and the Xbox version for my younger cousin (age 12) They both enjoy them.

Need for speed was launched right after the ps4 and Xbox one. I never really thought about buying it cause I did not think the game was good and worth spending 60 plus dollars. Any how, I finally decided to pick it up after a year later for a sale price of 20$. All I can say is I regret for not purchasing the game sooner because it's a awesome game.

This games was fun to play and has most of the Need for Speed elements and is the better of the recent games only possibly worse than Heat, but definitely better than Payback and Need for Speed 2015. Worth it to get your fix, but you'll still miss Underground.
