This film is called "Need for Speed" and is based on a video game. This alone tells us not to expect character development, genius plot twists and memorable dialogues. This films delivers exactly what it set out to deliver. If you like fast and beautiful cars, this is for you. If you like crazy stunts and cars chases, this is for you. If you enjoyed getting chased by the cops in the video game, this is for you. Go to the cinema expecting the above and you'll have an excellent time.

If you like car racing (and lots of it) you'll enjoy this movie. Do not expect the most believable plot (it is based on a video game series), but Aaron Paul makes the movie worth watching. The special features were pretty good. Decent amount of (short) featurettes, an audio commentary, and my favorite extra of all, a Digital HD copy of the movie. So, if you like racing and/or Aaron Paul, definitely check this movie out!

It's a movie based off a a video game about street racing. There's no academy award hopes here, but that's not the point of the movie. Yes there are a lot of unrealistic things that happen, but again based of a video game that allows you to do these things. It's made to entertain you with lots of action and cool chase scenes. It does just that. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the games, or action movies

I'm huge fan of the Fast and Furious movies but there is something about this movie that enjoy way more. It was super easy picking the movie up from Best Buy (didn't even need to leave my vehicle) and the movie showed up to the store in approximately 3 days from when I ordered it.

The movie was beyond GREAT! Loved all of the special effects, loved that there was lots of action & even comedy, and mostly loved the plot of the movie! My daughter LOVED this movie so much, that she requested it for her 10th bday, she also asks different ppl if they've seen it and says if you haven't you really need to! So, that being said our household highly recommend this movie!!!

Watching this for the first time I was definitely worried that it would suck. To my surprise it was actually a decent flick. Nothing to write home about and nothing worth making a sequel over but nonetheless entertaining. Supercars were hot and the scenes pretty face paced. A little over the top at times but what racing movie isn't today. Recommend for at least a one time viewing

While the story line might be predictable, it isn't unreasonable to believe. The rich guy with connections screws over the young aspiring racer, and without anything further to lose, comes back to win, however the cars make this movie fantastic, something F+F has lost a bit. When people compare this movie to F+F I want to slap them, its nothing like it

If you like the Need for Speed video games get this movie as it does it justice and I can see a series from this. If you like the Fast & Furious movies get this movie. If you just like cars, get this movie. This is a great movie with awesome cars and a surprisingly good story. It is NOT a Fast and Furious rip off. It is it's own movie.

I'm a big fan of the need for speed franchise, I wish this movie was promoted more then it was because it was better then what I expected it to be. Although it makes a good alternate race movie it still could have been better and has room to grow. So if your like me and like nice fast things then get at this. Hopefully they will make more.

Started a bit slow and wasn't expecting much considering. I feel the sound track could have been better...but!...the sound of the cars was very good! Amazing in surround sound! And seems they spent a lot of money in cars and equipment to make. No cgi which is perty awesome! The 'making of' and extra features were worth watching.

Loved the movie, the quality of the blue ray DVD, and just the overall entertainment value that the movie itself provides coupled with the high def technology offered by having it on blue ray to enjoy as though I am experiencing each action sequence in person and not as a viewer. Definitely worth buying!

When I saw the trailer for Need for Speed, I was like great another Fast and the Furious knock off. Then I watched it on cable and was surprised that it was really good. If you like the movie Bullet, then you'll love the nod that the director gives to the classic movie. Enjoyable popcorn movie!

I had assumed this movie would be full of CGI effects. Was pleasantly surprised to find out this movie's stunts were all real stunts with stunt drivers. No CGI. Paying tribute to the days of REAL car chases and REAL stuntmen. Plus it has awesome cars and a good storyline. I really enjoyed it.

Great views of supercars in action. Some liberties taken with how cars respond in accidents or other driving incidents, but obviously these were done for the average viewer to enhance viewer interest. Some predictability in the plot, but he action scenes make up for that.

I personally loved the movie. It was a little slow at first, then it was out of control action and comedy. I saw the movie in 3D and I would recommend it in 3D. I have not played any of the Need for Speed video games, but apparently it has some of the same characters.

Like car cases, this is the movie, some funny parts that really help to move the movie along. Overall the movie was vary predictable but still good. Lots of fast paced action and they do all the things you would love to do in a car but just don't want to risk the popo.

The cars are amazing, the action is pretty good. The acting is a bit cheesy at parts but it is a great car movie. Wished the girl in it was as cool through the whole movie not just I the beginning. Also the ending would have been better if the movie were a bit longer.

This year one of 5 movies my son ask for his shop collection of course he’s getting these action packed movies.

Aaron Paul does a decent job in this movie. I'm a huge need for speed fan that have played every need for speed that has ever come out. This movie plesently suprised me. Kid Cudi is hilarious in this movie and the racing scenes are awesome. Would recommend to any racing fan.

If you're a fan of cars. A good script the director that likes to do things the old fashion way then all CG. You will like this movie. There's also a beautiful woman and a love story, with revenge fast cars and a search for the truth.
