I'm a newcomer to the franchise and I'd say overall I had a good experience with this game. The character personalities and their interactions are the highlight of the game. Lots of video game references scattered throughout which were fun to hear. I had low expectations for the graphics and world design, which I think helped me enjoy the game more because it's not great. Lot's of reused monsters, dungeons, and you navigate the world with a cursor and menus. If you go into it with tempered expectations, I think you'll have a good time with the characters and there interactions.

I gave this a rating when I haven't even played this game, but truly, I don't even own a PS5 yet (& I'm in no hurry to get one). However, I still wanted to get this & other PS5 games before they'd end up rare & selling for triple the retail price online by the time I get a PS5, which could be another year or so. No hurry. I know about the series enough & the style of games these devs usually make, and this is right up my alley, and, being a remake of a game that already had a remaster/remake, I wanted to get this definitive version with all DLC. Seeing as there's WAY too many games in the Neptunia series, this is a great starting point for those that ignored this series like I did, seeing as it's a remake of a remake of the 1st game that started it all. My only complaint of this game -- by seeing video reviews of it -- is that this could've been a cross platform PS4/PS5 release. I see no reason that this couldn't have went to PS4, as well, because it certainly doesn't LOOK like a "next gen only" title. Heck, this looks like it could've been a possibility on a PS3.

"Re-imagining" of the original PS3 game that came out many years ago. If you've played a Neptunia game before, you know what to expect. Nothing new here. It's a good series of RPG's that leans more into the silliness and fanservice than epic story. I would still recommend it.

A remake. But it’s a nice game for the collection. Cute chicks, fun gameplay. I don’t think this is a game that’s going to wow you lol I’m opened minded gamer so I’ll try mostly anything. I wouldn’t go into this expecting the same graphics level of other ps5 games Just something to have simple fun with

Interesting title, with some solid RPG mechanics. Overall the title feels dated, being a remake of a PS3 game, but the quality of life improvements make this one the best version to play. A satire of the games industry, this one is made more for the diehards.

A remake of a remake - if you played the ps vita remake, no need to get this one, however for newcomers to the series, this is a perfect way to start!

The best version of the first game of the series. Really fun gameplay and all previous dlc is included.

This game series is always fun to play in and not take seriously. If you enjoy JRPGs with corny and light hearted themes - this is the game

This game feels very cheap. All the cutscenes are static discussions and the only exploration you do is in small dungeons. If you're into cheesy weeb humor, I guess this is for you? This was also a port from handheld which explains the lack of quality. Don't buy at full price.

This is a fun and great long running series. Quirky and funny.
