I bought this as a Christmas present for my 9 yr old, but I think I've had more fun playing than he has! Some of the mini games are really hard...especially the ones I never played before as a kid, like Balloon Fight and a few others. There are a ton of levels to beat to unlock more games, so I doubt this game will be finished anytime soon. It feels like quality bonding time with my kiddo- I can finally show him how to play an 8-bit game that isn't minecraft!

I grew up playing most of these games. Nintendo greatly excelled at bringing these titles back in a remixed mini game format that breeds hours on hours if fun. Most challenges are really inventive and it's a real bargain for the price.

Although these are not full games they give you a small taste of the old games. It is a fun throwback and keeps the games alive. Plus it allowed me to introduce games to my children that I grew up loving.

I will be honest, this is not my favorite game. Given that it costs less than the other Wii U games, I feel like it is fair for the price. If you grew up with the NES like I did, it is pretty fun reliving a few challenges from the old games. However, it gets stale pretty fast and some of the challenges are boring. Also, In my opinion, most of the games included in NES Remix One are average at best. I would rather just play the old games instead of remixed snippets form each one.

Every time I go to BB with my son (3yo), I let him demo the Wii U display while I browse the gaming section. He always asks for Mario and I pop the demo of this game on and set it to the NES Mario 1 remix level where all he has to do is jump while Mario automatically runs. After a few visits, I decided to buy him the game. It's a quick game we can both enjoy together while I teach him some gaming basics. The game is also enjoyable to play on my own when I don't want to invest a lot of time in a more complicated game and just want to have some fun for a few minutes.

NES Remix is a really enjoyable game for any age. Whether you're an adult who recalls his childhood playing any of these classic games such as Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, etc. or a child who's never even heard of any of these series it's a really fun game that will get you hooked. You can relive classic parts from iconic Nintendo games with various new challenges that will give you lots of trial and error situations. You can play with your friends and experience even more enjoyment as you try to see who can get the better score. For the such a cheap price it's one game worth adding to your Wii U collection.

NES Remix was a highly replayable, very fun game to play. It lets you play old NES games in a new fashion. It is challenge based, having to complete tasks in order to progress. The only problem I had with this title? You don't get to play the full NES games at your own pace. It links you to the E-shop to buy the full game, which I assumed came in the package. Other than that, it is enjoyable for the content it does have!

This game takes your classic NES games and cuts them up in fun size challenges. For example, you may have to run through a Super Mario Bros level without getting hit or defeat Browser several times in a row. You get to play Super Mario Bros., Balloon Fight, Excitebike, and Donkey Kong as a few examples. Like any Nintendo game, there are plenty of collectibles and goals to accomplish. There is easily over 100 hundred levels to play and unlock. This is fun twist of the classic NES games. Playing this will entice you to pull out your NES system and play the originals all over again. This is a must have for the Nintendo fan.

I REALLY THINK THAT THIS GAME IS FUN. You have little challenges that can be very challenging- no matter how much you have played these games in the past. Every time you finish a level, another opens. There are quite a few games to chose from. Mario Party 3 is my favorite.

A nostalgic throwback to Nintendo's past. Dozens upon dozens upon dozens of mini-challenges & remixed portions from older classics- Super Mario Bros. Excitebike, Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, etc. You will stay busy for quite awhile if you plan to master all the challenges. Miiverse support includes unlocking old school stamps.

Didn't read the package well enough and thought it would include the original full games, in conjunction with other mini game variations off the originals. Unfortunately it was only the latter. Still alright if you like to play 10 second mini games.

Are you ready for a retro themed challenge that bounces between brain-dead easy and unfair? Then this is the game for you. It's a good value overall, but I doubt many people will play it all the way through. Just know what you're getting into before you buy: this is not old school games with modern design.

Want to play some of your old favorites but don't want to rebuy all of them. This is the perfect game. You don't play through the entire old games but you are offered challenges to complete. My friends and I get together to play this and try to beat each other's scores.

This is an interesting trip back to my childhood. It is not full versions of the old games, but it teaches you the old moves, then makes you complete the moves in a certain amount of time. I'm a child of the 80's, so I find it entertaining. My kids... so-so.

All the games in one. I love it, it's a little confusing though. The remix is TRUE. The game is close but does a little different events from the original game. It's worth the $20 I paid for it.

This game was marketed as being a wild and crazy trip through old NES games. The end result is more of a slow, guided traipse on rails that only occasionally dips its toe into the "remix" experience. The bulk of the challenges are simple quick slices of the preexisting games: perform this simple task that was already present in the game, run through this section of the level quickly--very simple (in concept) stuff. Only the remix sections actually provide a remix - use Link in a Donkey Kong level, etc. but there's just not enough of that. As odd as it sounds, it doesn't seem frantic enough. I more expected something closer to the WarioWare chaos, as odd as that sounds. There is fun to be had here, it's just that the fun comes at a very measured, methodical pace.

This game offers fun challenges for anyone who grew up on the old NES games. Includes favorites and the games you love to hate. And its challenging for the whole family!

It is a great way to play some older games on the newer console with challenges like hitting so many barrels in Donkey Kong. When you complete these challenges, it then unlocks more regular and advanced challenges.

Game features tons of mini-challenges that require you to perform tasks from snippets of classic Nintendo videogames. The "remix" challenges deviate form the original game and can mess with your head (finish this level with only a spotlight on you, or complete this time trial with an ever shrinking screen. Some are frustrating, but always addicting. Game comes with Nes Remix 1 and 2, originally available on the ninetndo e-shop. Also includes full game of Super Luigi Bros, which is the original Super Mario Bros game, but backwards (right to left) featuring Luigi as the star. Nice price

I bought this game hoping to play the old version of Donkey Kong but apparently it just gives you parts of the game to play. I was hoping to show my son the complete old version. This is not that.. you have to complete tasks to unlock certain levels etc it is interesting but it is not the same. as for the other games I have yet to decide as I have not played o but I just wanted to leave a review about the old style Donkey Kong. it is still fUn, so giving it 3 Stars! MY 12yr old likes learning about the older versions of Zelda.
