Challenge will come from trying to adjust times to items be dehydrated. So far, actual times have far exceeded recipe times but that may be part of the learning curve.

Only used once since only had it for a month but seems durable and easy to clean and maintain. If you don't need this much capacity (and I'm not sure we do) I would recommend a smaller capacity unit that is easier to store.

The day after I received it I prepared the marinade for the first batch of beef jerky and after marinating it overnight, made the first batch. It was only a pound of top sirloin and lasted barely a week since it was so good. Two pounds are now marinating for tomorrow.
