I received my Google Nest free when I purchased a new phone, so it was a pleasant surprise. when I opened the box. The set-up wasn't too difficult after chatting with a Google rep on line. It gets the most use from the grandkids who love watching videos and listening to music but comes in handy when we need to know the weather or are searching for something on the net on the fly. Loads of fun, and helpful at the same time.

This is one of those things that you don't really need, but is very nice to have. Family photos on constant rotation is wonderful! Google Assistant integration into your daily life can be difficult to remember to use, but when you do there is some benefit. The sound quality from the Nest Hub isn't the greatest. It is adequate for podcasts and talk radio. I didn't buy it for music anyhow, so no worries.

I purchased this only because BestBuy was running a special of only costing $40 with the purchase of a Nest Outdoor IQ camera I purchased. I primarily have Amazon smart home speakers and a Echo Show but couldn't pass on this deal. So far I like this device; only have it connected to my Nest cameras and like the feature of telling google to show me any one of my cameras for a live stream. Still learning all of what it can do but so far so good.

Love this for music and recipes! The recipes walk you through everything! We just love this!
