The nest hub is a good buy. Not great, but good in my opinion. We use it for our google nest hello doorbell, which allows us to see who is at our front door when the bell has rung and for YouTube as well as music. The kids love it ! There is a lot that you can do if you purchase other smart home items. My complaint is when you ask google certain things, most of the times she doesn’t know and will tell you that she needs to learn more. Time will tell if she actually does learn more stuff. All in all I’m happy with the purchase but not completely blown away.

This item was the first of many google home devices to follow. We already had a few home items that work with the google home assistant like light bulbs and it's so very cool to tell google to dim the lights. I also like that we can set "routines" for daily updates. I understand that Amazon is a direct competitor, but I wish it could play my Audible books or Amazon music...at least the stuff I purchased, that belong to me.

Overall very satisfied works great in the area i have. still waiting on the nest hub max

Use this quite often. Good way to listen to music, hear the news, get s new recipe.

This make a wonderful photo frame. Additionally for people in google home ecosystem, this Is a must buy. Integrates seamlessly with nest doorbell and neat cam. The beat feature I loved personally, when you link your spotify account to google home. This can display the album art during playback. The set ups not very intuitive. Take a few attempts to get it setup the way you want.

Would recommend that to everyone. Sounds great and we love it for our kitchen.

I've had an Amazon Alexa for 3-4 years and wanted an alternative. The video display is very nice and assists me with cooking. It does recipe walkthroughs, displays YouTubeTV so that I can watch the news or other programming, and I can use the voice assistant to display many things. I use it to check my commute to work, as a timer when I'm cooking, and controlling me WeMo switches to turn the Entertainment center off and on as well as lights, control thermostats upstairs and downstairs, etc. It has Google Duo capability... but no forward facing camera, or camera at all but not important to me.

Bought this for the wife. She loves having it in kitchen to read recipes and listen to music.

The Google Home Hub really is the center of our household. We add items to shopping lists, get news each morning, check weather, find recipes, check upcoming events, etc. The integration with our Philips Hue lights and Arlo Pro 2 security cameras makes home automation a snap. The ability to distinguish between multiple voices makes segregation of things like calendars and lists essential. Great product from Google!
