I was shopping for presents and got this at a reduced price for buying some other merchandise. I got it home and went through the set up. I like how it has a screen. You can watch music videos. I had it playing holiday videos in the house during the holidays. I like being able to ask it questions. It just a nice addition to my home. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

I got an Amazon Show and a Google Hub at the same time to see which one I really liked - the Google Hub is very responsive - nice to use despite it's small frame (although Amazon just realized their little one to compete). If you have Android phone this is a must! I have an iPhone and prefer talking to my Google stuff 'cause we all know Siri just plain su....s

I probably would not rate this a 5 star at the list price, but it is so easy to find this on sale so I rated it a 5. I'd prefer a bigger screen with a better resolution but I went for this since I didn't know how I'd like it (after all, I can use my android based phone for a Google Assistant with a screen). But I like it enough that I'd probably buy the Max version in the future. Pro: Google Chromecast built in. A little smarter than Amazon Alexa (in my opinion). A screen is helpful (to me) compared to a voice only "assistant". Screen's ability to self adjust to ambient light. Touch screen is better than I expected (not as good as a good quality smartphone or iPad, but not too bad). Digital photo frame is nice to have. Con: Screen (see above), could use better sound or allow me to connect to external speakers through Aux Out (Bluetooth has never won me over; Wifi speakers are better but they are still sold at a premium price IMHO). Could allow me to display pictures from other sources (free Google Photo accounts has only compressed pictures). Overall, I still don't feel sorry I made the purchase and will look forward to the next generation (hopefully Google would made it even better) of Nest Hub Max.

I have 3 of these badboys. 1 in my gameroom to watch the nest cameras+baby cam. 1 in the kitchen and 1 in the master bedroom. Easy to set up and use to control your other smart products. Easy to set up routines like good morning google: tells you your news, turns on lights, tells you what your commute is looking like. Highly recommend.

Nice product , multi purpose, ease to use, good sound quality

I am so impressed with the Google home hub. I have 3 Alexa dots and I like them but this thing is off the charts what it can do!!! Love the Google photos rotation. Love the clock, alarm, calender, weather and how to do anything YouTube videos..just ask it. Oh and I love the sound quality of songs I ask it to play or meditation or sleep music. I could go on and on!!!

It is smaller than I imagined but it has great sound quality. Also it is very easy to link my devices to the HUB.

Very easy to set up, great picture and sound and price for what you get

I purchased this for use in my kitchen, the voice assistant combined with the screen is great for showing recipes and allowing you to follow along with them. You can advance or pause the screen with your voice so even if you hands are full you still have complete control. It also allows you to use your pictures as a slideshow providing a great place to show off your pictures. You also have complete control over your smart home devices with your voice or using the controls built into the touchscreen.

Better value than Alexa! It may be more expensive when the Echo 5 is on sale, but it's large and sounds better (I own both). I love having this in the kitchen because I can cast Hulu, Netflix, or AT&T Now on it while I cook or just see to watch a recipe.

Apart from showing your photos and time, this smart display can also work as a control center for all your google assistant enabled smart home devices. It has enough sensors on the front to let the screen adapt to the ambient light around the device which gives this screen that paper like "real" look. Sound quality is not bad, lacks a bit of a base, but you to get an option to connect it to any Bluetooth speaker.

I love this little tablet if you know how to make use of it. I love how this integrates in with all the best products in my home. Definitely a must pick if you want to glance and make changes to your devices via voice control. I am loving this little tablet how it plays all of my favorite tunes and videos. Highly recommended!

I purchased a Google Home last year and I really like it so when the Google Home Hub was introduced I was interested in seeing how well it worked. I love being able to have it answer questions, set reminders, and help me keep up with the my calendar. The Google Home Hub is not only very helpful but also fun and entertaining. It is my personal assistant with a voice.

I placed this one in the kitchen, use it for following recipes. good sound quality, great responsiveness, and its so much easier to control other home items through the user interface. I do with that I could save specifc recipes on another device and have it sent to the home hub though....

Easy to setup and operate. Small enough to move around

I more or less have a Google ecosystem in the home and thought this would be a great addition. So, I moved my Home mini to the kitchen (bought a wall mount for it), and setup the Home Hub in the bedroom. Deducted 1 star solely because my other Home units are capable of utilizing the continued conversation feature. Perhaps there will be an update to add this to the Home Hub in the feature? Still worth getting one because the screen allows features you wouldn't necessary get with the audio-only counterparts.

Very good product also very good price and good customer service

I have a couple Google Home audio only units, and the visual aspect adds a lot of useful functionality to the experience. Controls colors of hue lights, pictures of items of inquiry, your personal photos, can even play your movies library. Screen is sharp and vibrant with good viewing angles. Size of unit is very attractive. For the price I paid, I really like it.

The screen looks amazing, especially in screen saver mode with Google photos. Sound quality is fine but if you really want to listen to music just pair it to a Bluetooth speaker (it still does everything else through its own speaker so doesn't hurt the function at all). You could get a good speaker and this for less than some that have a fancy speaker built in
