I really enjoy this product from Google. The Google Assistant is great to have at home. I use it as a bedside alarm clock, digital frame, music player, and smart assistant. I ended up buying 4 more for family Christmas gifts and have received positive feedback from the recipients. Highly recommended.

Was kind of leery about the Google Assistant after getting it home and get the getting it set up really like the concept of it the voice commands work perfectly the speaker is really good I can be in the back of the house and say something to Google and it notices my voice happy when we get more control features and functions to it definitely need to pour more interface into it but overall a work in progress

I bought this for my girlfriend for Christmas. I like it because it's a clock for our bedroom, I can get sports scores if I fall asleep the night before. I can have it play rain or ocean sounds when I go to bed, I can listen to music, granted it's not a high-end speaker but more than adequate for what I use it for. I haven't even mentioned the stuff I haven't tested yet like turning off and on lights or setting thermostat.

I have both the Google and the Alexa in my house. I have them both because I wanted to test them both to see which one I would end up liking the best. After about a year I have settled with the Google dot and the Google home. I purchased the Google home because it integrates a lot better with the nest tools that I have in my house. I like the fact that I could just ask it if my door is locked or to view a camera or to see with the thermostat is set to and I get a visual representation on Google home of what I have asked for. I know there are similar things available with Alexa but I do enjoy What Google brings me with the rest of the things that I have integrated like Google calendar and Google maps. For me it’s just a better alternative, and I really do enjoy a Google Home because it also lists all of my pictures from an album list that I have on my phone. So it’s kind of like a picture frame that shows pictures from the album that I have stored on my phone. All in all I’m very happy with Google Home

Prior to the Home Hub I had a couple of Google Home Minis. I also have a couple of Echo Dots. Google Home has come a LONG way since it originally released, and I think it's now better than Amazon's Echo products. The Home Hub is really great. Responds well to commands, the picture is great, audio quality is great. I do wish the screen were a little bigger, but that's kind of nitpicking. I absolutely recommend the Home Hub.

This has been wonderful in my office and has replaced a number of office items or more so streamlined them. I can get the time and news and actually surf the web for information without having to do so on my computer while I am working. I love it!

This is a must if you have a lot of smart plugs, light bulbs and Nest thermostat. I can control everything sitting at my desk, only wish it would work with the Ring Doorbell but it's Amazon product so I get it.

This Google Home Hub is the ultimate in completing my "Google Home Operation. The primary "plus" of the unit is the increased simplicity and easy of operation of your complete Google home. Another major plus is the addition of video and sound. This item has quickly become the "heart" of my system.

Very impresses... had an Alexa which would never stay hooked to our wireless, but Google does. Love that I can feature certain albums of our travels, listening to music is great and sound pretty good, works great with our lamp lights. All around w as y better than Alexa.

I love the larger screen as compared to the 5" screens on some smart home devices. It is nice to run Spotify and YouTube through it. The most frustrating thing is that Google and Amazon have a feud going on so that Amazon devices, such as my Ring Doorbell, do not have any integration. Not sure if that is Google or Amazon, but it is the user who suffers, unfortunately.

    Decent Home Hub

I am not sure we are heading for an Alexa versus Google divide like PC or Mac, but I shop on Amazon but email on Google...so it was only by sheer odd luck and not any real intent that I chose Google Home as the first device in my house. I like Google Home, and when the Home Hub came out thought I would give it a try. Hooks right up, easy to connect, supply your Google credentials and go. I use Google Assistant as the main scheduler for my home automation (smart light bulbs, smart plugs, smart switches). So now I have quite a few routines that turn lighting throughout the house on and off. Great for the dark of winter to have the lights on. Also great to add some randomness to lights coming on and off if you are away. Interface is OK - nothing terribly impressive. Setting up the Home Hub for my voice recognition seems to have helped as frequently Google does not follow the explicit commands and desires of my wife - and then the wife is irritated with the Google. It is hilarious. Especially when my 19 year old son walks by and says the same command and she (the Google) listens right away. I leave some things in the house just plain old turn the switch on, but Home Hub makes managing the online devices easy. It isn't a game changer, but a convenience. The speaker is just OK for music, but I have an actual stereo if I want to really play music. I like that it doesn't have a camera. I am also quite sure this will receive a number of updates and extended or new features as it matures in the market. Its a notch above Meh.

The nest is a great product with good sound for listening to music. It also serves as a great way to view your security cameras and nest doorbell. Screen is a little small for watching TV so if doing alot of video I would recommend upgrading to the Hub Max.

but we use the other functions of the google assistant (GA) more than we thought. Nice to be able to have the camera feed come up on the screen when asked too. Most of the time GA gets our request correct the first time. Probably just needs more time to learn. Con: Setup can be kind of a pain because things are not that straight forward. Things are hidden behind other menus.

Bought this when it first came out. Paid $150. While I love the device, I knew I should have waited a month as they have been on sale for $99 several times since. I would reccomend buying when it gets to that price point. Only thing that it is missing is the camera to allow for video calls.

Don't half of what this can do, but I love what I know how to use. Went in for a new alarm, and got this. Was hesitant about setting it up, but even I could do it. It's a lot of fun, and no more futzing with an alarm clock, or turning off music, etc. All I have to do is speak.

I actually like the Google Home Hub better than some of my Amazon Alexa devices.....shows directions, weather and much more on the screen. Probably the best 'ambient' feature though, is the automatic slideshow of my pictures and it's ability to respond to "where was this picture taken/ when?"

Initially thought the Samsung fridge we own would do a lot of what the Hub would do without having to purchase the Hub. It does, and we are a Samsung-Google household, but the Hub makes it easier to operate without the fingerprints, etc. And for $59, you cannot beat it.

I have several Amazon alexa's, but they can't answer alot of my questions, but on my phone I always goole to get answers, so I bought a google hub to answer my questions, and it does most of the times, just by speaking, it hears me and answer's my questions! It is capable of many more things!
