I had resisted the world of smart speakers. We have an Amazon Echo in our small office at work, and I think it quite rude and disruptive as some fellow employess shout across the room at the device. However, when I noticed a good sale just before Christmas for the Google Home Hub plus to two Home Minis, I made the jump. I really like the Home Hub. For privacy, I like the fact that it has no camera. We do not use it that often and we do not use it for many things (weather, timer, questions on movies), but I really like having the screen show the answers as well as the voice response. It makes me feel cheated when I use the Minis.

Very nice added addition to the Google Home system. I love being able to display vacation pictures, while playing music, setting alarms, getting traffic updates and weather. There are so many things this little thing can do. I bought this to switch my apartment over to the Google system over Alexa because I received 4 free Google minis for different promos. Great addition if you don't want to go for the larger one that comes with the camera for those who get freaked out by someone being able to hack and see in your place.

If you have any Google/nest devices, you should have something like this to talk them them all. I use it as a chime and monitor for my Hello Nest doorbell because I didn’t have a regular chime connected to the door I wanted the Hello Nest on. Plus you can just yell at it and ask it to do stuff. And it never talks back to you or nags you to take out the trash. It’s basically just always there to serve you. Now Google could just make it bring me a beer or cook me a Turkey pot pie. 5/5 stars would yell “HEY GOOGLE” again.

Brought this as an addition to my expanding google network. Was easy to setup and love the compact size. I have google play and the sound is awesome for such a small unit.

The Google hub is fantastic! Very easy to control with your own voice. Works really well with other Google smart devices and connectable devices, like alarms, doorbells, etc.

The screen makes a big difference when compared to the mini. Hey google is also so much smarter than Alexa or Siri. Works great with my smart home devices.

Bought this for my parents and they had it up and running their house in no time. They use it every day for news and music.. lighting to Window Blinds.

If you have smart home devices, this is a pretty nice way to bring it all together and add voice control that isn't tied to your phone. Even better if you have a set of speakers connected to a Chromecast Audio (now discontinued). One underappreciated feature is the ability to set the Ambient Display, essentially the idle mode, to display a photo album. The screen is really nice, so it works well as a digital picture frame if you don't already have one and were thinking about getting it. If you don't want it for the Google Assistant voice features, you can always mute the microphone with the built-in hardware switch.

Bought for my mother so that she could view my son all the time. It does that job perfectly and on top of that doubles as a speaker. I wish it had a camera on it for duo calls , but other than that great product

Amazing speaker for the price. Loved the screen size compare to other competitors. The response time is amazing and very easy to use.

This Google device is amazing. I love the size of the screen and the sound quality. I will soon add google devices throughout my house. I love the broadcast feature.

Love it so much can’t wait for the new hub max coming in September 2019. The ability to see all nest cams at once and stream shows is cool sound quality good too.

I bought this with the "free" Google Mini ($25-$40 worth!) for $79 or so. Great deal and I always find a place to put the Mini. The product is pretty good though obviously it would be better with the bigger screen Max model (which is nearly $200 more but also sports a camera for video calling which the cheaper 7" model does not). I like the device and it is great value for money. The "But..." comes in with the Google features it /currently/ supports. For instance, Google calendars are not available for GSuite users :-(. Obviously, Google Home was not designed for business use, but I'm guessing many professionals want to have their home-based Google system inform them of their business appointments. But, again... these are limitations that (hopefully) will be resolved with future upgrades to their software.

Small compact and Easy to use Use everyday and it is and has been extremely reliable no issues and will purchase another one in the near future

I love it so much that I bought the second one for my mom. I like it more than the Alexa because you can play youtube from it so you can listen to any songs.

Plays music and sound of the music is nice. Great sound in small package. Display is crisp for images.

Nest Hub 7" Smart Display with Google Assistant Charcoal is the perfect size and has very good sound and video quality for it's size.

I really like my Google Home Hub, having a screen provides an added dimension to Google Home. If you are a power Google user, this product is for you. For others, its functionality outside of Google is limited, like no TV or Netflix can play on the Hub.

Great assistant to provide updates on daily activities of living, weather, locations of stores, etc. I use this every day. Works with my Sony Television to play music.

I was looking between the larger screen on the Lenovo and this Google Home Hub. I almost selected the Lenovo, however, I am very happy with the home hub. The ease of integration with Google Photos and Google Home makes this an easy choice if you are invested in the google ecosystem. Having photo's from my library that I haven't seen in years pop up when the hub is not being actively used is a bonus for me. This isn't going to blow you away with speaker quality or sound but it does very well and easily beats the mini. All around I wish it had a larger screen but that is really the only slight negitive for me
