I'm slowly migrating to a smart home and needed to decide on what hub would I benefit from the most. Everything pointed me in this direction. The Google hub was really easy to setup and connect my various Bluetooth items to it. I like that if I want to stream music through the hub I can have it go through my JBL Bluetooth speaker and it sounds great. I like the nights sounds when you tell it good night and we've had a lot of fun asking it random goofy questions. Try the Monty Python route of questions especially from the Holy Grail.

It works great. Set was a breeze. My wife like the pictures that scroll when it is not in use along with being able to get info when she wants it

Overall, I think this is a great product. It is easy to use and has all the features you could need. The only thing I wish was made better is the Google Home app. It is very confusing and unorganized. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to change the display on my Google Home and how to create an album of photos to use (which you have to download another app for). Changing your setting customizing your Google Home is very confusing and it seems there are several different areas for "settings" in the app. I would like to change the sound of the alarm but I just gave up because I can't figure out where that would be or if you can even do that. Overall great product itself, but the app could use a lot of work and reorganizing/restructuring.

My smart home is powered by Amazon Echo so I thought I had no need for one of these, Boy was I wrong! This thing answers questions so much better then amazon I find myself going to other rooms just to use this instead of the Echoes that are everywhere. The screen is even better then the Echo show. Its a joy to play content on this thing because you can just cast content to it. Amazon is still better for home automation but for general daily use get one of these.

Small enough to fit any where, big enough to replace you home speaker system! Love this product I have 3 of them!

This is the best thing ever! I love to cook and I can google recipes and save them to a cookbook. I love that it will recite the recipe to me step by step and I can actually read the screen, It's all hands free which is awesome cause my hands get dirty while cooking. It has Voice ID so it will only give personal information if it recognizes your voice. My only complaint is that is doesn't have an Aussie Male voice like Siri so I had to settle for John Legend, At least he is soothing to listen to...hahaha! Buy one you will love it!

I have Google Home speakers throughout my entire house. I had been holding off on this, cuz I didn't think I would need it. Man, was I wrong. It is so convenient to have this thing in my kitchen. Recipes, videos, youtube, digital photo frame, it does it all and really well. I do think I will get the Lenovo Smart display for my kitchen as it has a camera and bigger screen, sometimes I wish I could video chat and watch Youtube on a larger screen. I would definitely recommend this, I can't wait to get a Nest camera so that I can view my streams.

Purchased for one of our nightstands. It talks to Google PHotos and displays beautifully all of our uploaded high-resolution pictures. It has an ambient light sensor that knows how bright it should be and goes nearly dark with no light present. We also use this as a Nest monitor for our child's room and it stays on all night. The speaker is loud and clear and Google Home works with all of our smart connected peripherals. High recommend!

What most people say about Apple products applies here more than it does to Apple's smart home devices...it just works. Google is by far the best digital assistant at understanding different people's voices (it understands my 3-year-old perfectly) and providing relevant answers. It works seamlessly with all of the smart home products we've purchased so far from a number of different vendors. The screen is particularly useful in the kitchen where we can watch YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, or display recipes while cooking.

Google products are always winners, but this device might be the best of them all. The hub can do everything that you would expect from a Google device and more. Watch videos, listen to music, get directions to work, get recipes, and control your home. My favorite part is now that it is one company with Google and Nest you can watch your Nest cameras directly on the hub. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that uses the Google Assistant.

Have one of these in my kitchen, makes for a great speaker, picture frame, and way to control a smart home

This was my first Nest Hub and I put it in my kitchen. It is great for many things, but 3 specific things that I use it for in this particular area... 1, Recipes This device pulls up recipe cards in a great format that is much better than constantly washing my hands to unlock or scroll my phone screen. I don't always follow recipes, but when I do, I use my Nest Hub. 2. Listening to music while in the kitchen I spend quite a bit of time in the kitchen - cooking, baking, dishes, etc. I had a sound bar on my fridge, but was able to relocate that and use the hub for easy listening, even though the sound was not quite as good as the sound bar. 3. Photo frame/daily dashboard To be fair this is more than one...It is a great photo frame in my kitchen and you can have it show the current weather, date and time as well in the corner of the frame in an unobtrusive way. In addition, like the current product photo, you can have the hub display a small banner off to the side for upcoming events/tasks/reminders tied to a Google calendar. I have a shared family calendar that my wife and I use for common events that don't just pertain to our own individual Google calendars. This is the calendar I have it sync with and display. As our door to the outside is by the kitchen, it is great to be able to glance at the hub on our way out!

Very easy to set up and use. Very helpful in the kitchen! The speakers sound like a very nice stereo system!

This is a solid choice for a smart assistant. Very easy to use and the screen is useful when you are trying to look at things like recipes

Excellent product. Nice to have it. Monitors stranger with nest door bell ringer. Also, maintains thermostat.

The Nest Hub is the best digital photo frame there is. To be able to have your photos that you take with your phone automatically show up there is really awesome. You can have Google just automatically show photos of certain people or places, etc. The assistant part is also very useful, particularly if you have smart home items such as smart light bulbs it smart plugs. Also great in the kitchen to help you set timers and even show you recipes. Can also show you YouTube videos and play music of course.

Easy to setup and use. I can control so many things in my house through the Google Assistant. The Nest Hub is a great device.

Very easy to set up with the Google home app. I love how it works with my Nest lock,doorbell and Nest thermostat. Has really nice display but does not have the camera like some of the other ones made by Lenovo in JBL.

Wow, what an great device. I got rid of my Amazon Echo devices once I saw how nice this was. Very easy setup. All my smart devices automatically connected (partially because I have a Nest/Google Wifi mesh system). Voice recognition, routines already programmed, just customize to your needs. I had to train and constantly modify the ones I used with the Echo devices. I'm all Nest/Google now (except my hue lights which work well with the Nest Hub).

Having used Amazon Alexa and Google Home, Alexa better fits my needs. The device seems well built, the speaker is decent, and the screen is crisp. I turned off the ambient light sensor because it seemed too dark to me.
