The Google Home Hub is a cute little smart home speaker with a beautiful screen. I cannot describe how cool the ambient eq is - it adjust the coloring on pictures to the color brightness and temperature of the room. The photos look like printed photographs! It is something you truly have to see.

The screen is just the right size to fit in with your other stuff. Any bigger and it would be hard to find a place for it. Any smaller and it would be too small to see. I am VERY happy with adding visual information to my Google Home. I have Home on every floor of the house so I can give commands from anywhere. I am going to be temped to start replacing Google Home speakers with the Home Hub in key places.

This Home Hub is a great addition to my Google Mini. Features: It can play photos from Google Photos collection; "Hey Google" feature is great. I want to connect the Hub to my existing D-Link cameras but cameras are too old. Tired of chasing the upgrade game. The compatible cameras are too expensive. Sound quality is great for the size. I am aligning with Google hardware over Amazon ones even though I am an Amazon Prime member. I like Google's vast search capabilities. The Alexa hub is about 3x cost.

Google hub is awesome. It was easy to setup. I love that I can see pictures on my hub and talking google was easy.

I have it in my room and I really enjoy it. It’s connected to other google hubs around my house.

Accurate voice recognition, nice sound for a small area, easy to use and very handy access to photos, calendar and smart devices.

This is by far the best Smart Speaker on the market. Sound quality is great alone but having a screen just makes it even better.

Google Home Hub was easy to setup and is very responsive to questions and commands. The sound is decent and the screen is sharp.

I have one of these as well as the Lenovo version and loved them so much I purchased this as a gift for my brother's family that doesn't live near us so we could make video calls. Its great visiting with the kids through Duo. These could be priced a little lower, and I don't like how the lower level unit doesn't have a camera forcing you to get this model for video, but hey that's the way it is. I still think these work great and are easy to set up.

It’s really hard to slam on a free gift included with the purchase of my Google Nest WiFi Mesh Router and End Points. Let me start by saying that our home is filled with Alexa based products and Nest products so we started with a mixed ecosystem. I thought that this addition would blend seamlessly into this ecosystem because it is a Nest product. Wow, was I wrong! Google bought Nest and has failed to appropriately integrate the cameras, smoke detectors, temperature sensors, doorbell, and thermostats, with the Google Nest WiFi network. Sure, they offer to integrate your account, and this product, which integrates perfectly with the Google Nest ecosystem is incentive to do just that, but every one of their support people will warn you not to convert. Apparently, conversion means a huge loss of features, and if you don’t like the new world you’ve joined, you can’t go back. So, in short, if you are expecting that when the doorbell rings an image of your visitors will pop up on this screen, or if you are wanting to control your thermostat using Alexa (stops working), or if you are wanting to keep all of your beautiful Nest features, you will be disappointed. On the other hand, if you want to sit and watch YouTube music and mope about how Google just stole all of the albums you purchased on Google Pay, this fits the bill. As for me, I use the smart hub display as a retro 70’s clock, wondering just how much of my data is being exfiltrated and gathered by Google. Until Google finishes shifting its environments around, there will be turmoil in its merging realities. “Hey Google! Don’t be evil.”

We gave this as a Christmas gift for my 92-year-old father (after breaking him in on a couple of Google Home Minis). He's still getting to know it, but he's impressed with what it will do. We got it free in a promotion when we bought a Google Nest Wi-Fi system -- which is fantastic. If we'd been buying a display we might have upgraded to the larger model with the camera so Dad can video call. We'll save that for next year.

I'm engrained with Google products. I love that this has the ambient mode where it shows all of my Google photos. Pushing recipes to this in the kitchen is amazing. It goes step by step with any recipe you find on the internet. The only downside is that it continually disconnects from my account and I have to unplug it to reset it. Also I have really good wifi at home but the hub still pauses a lot when playing videos from YouTube (which it should be flawless at since that's also a Google product). Sometimes Spotify skips and pauses too. Not sure if it's a software thing or what. I like that there isn't a camera. Not sure I'd ever make a video call on it but nice to know no one is watching me.

the hub is great, I have it my kitchen and can check my schedule and watch the mourning news while getting ready for the day.

I got the Nest Hub as a free item with my Nest doorbell purchase. I didn't think I would have much use for it but I have been pleasantly surprised. I can view my doorbell camera and adjust my thermostat with it without any problems. I can also talk through the doorbell microphone as well. We have it displaying our Google Photos throughout the day and it has a nice picture. I ask it questions, set alarms and get my weather, too. Very nice addition to our network.

Display is sharp and easy to read. Speaker is also good quality. Great device for kitchen - you can easily bring up recipes.

Our daughter bought us one of these Google devices last year for Christmas and we have enjoyed it very much, with an endless supply of photos that are constantly rotating in and out and the ability to ask trivia questions and control features around the house. We decided to buy a few more to scatter around the house, not only for the photos, but to also use as an in-house stereo system. Easy to install and use, we love it.
