The Google Home Hub is a great piece of tech, easy to setup up and future proof. I had no idea how many things you can control with this device, Wow factor of 10! The only negative I have regarding this unit, you can't see the clock at night in a dark room. I like you use it as an alarm clock, maybe down the road, Google will fix this issue.

They're cool. They have a lot of features. And maybe I haven't discovered them all yet. But they di not have a front facing camera, so no video calling. I couldn't figure out how to link my hulu or netflix account to watch on it (which I don't believe you can) we basically use it to view our nest cams, play music while cooking and using it for recipes. Bought this on sale over the holiday's for 89 bucks. Should've waited because they went in sale for 2 for $100.

this thing is cool I like the size of the max however I don't like how it has a camera so this is really nice if you don't want that intrusive webcam

I have had the Google Nest Hub for over a year and use it almost daily. Its Super easy to set up anyone can do it. Great for looking up recipes , streaming music, photo slideshow, reminders, calls and so much more. And it's all voice controlled! I liked it so much I bought one for my parents this Christmas and they both love it too! Highly recommend purchasing one.

Where do I start? This thing was about to get returned, it is NOT easy to set up with your Nest thermostat AT ALL. Took us several techs and attempts to get it done. Then when we had to move the nest hello to the hub (after our free trial) we had to REMOVE the thermostat and reinstall it (took awhile to figure that out) because the nest thermostat was an older version....so i guess we will not be adding much more to this hub. I do like how easy it is to set multiple timers and name them. It links up will with life 360 so you can keep track of your family. I do NOT like how it takes several attempts to get rid of a reminder once you have 'taken your meds' for example. I have swiped it all directions and usually the thing ends up bringing up a list of ALL the reminders and starts to read them! I have tried to tell it to cancel, complete, remove, etc thru voice command, but it doesn't know what to do. It is not easy to get a second person added to the account so your husband/wife can use it as well. The box shows pretty circles for what you can click on...YEAH this lasted about 2 days (and I liked it) NOW i have to swipe down, click the home option and FIND what I want by looking thru a few screens of BOXES!!! I hate that the most! We do like the fact that we can talk to another room using it and will play the same music throughout the house using the devices (2 hubs and one google home). Over time it is growing on me but the set up is the pits with getting everything to attach to it. I would refer it to a friend, with caution.

The Google Home Hub is one serious piece of equipment in the world of digital assistants. Leveraging Google Assistance and placing into a device that allows for visual consumption of media and social media is outstanding. The product is solid, well-built and very easy to set up. Once logged into my Google account through the Hub it found all my contacts, places and usually accessed material. I set it up to give me a morning brief that includes weather, current news and traffic for my location by simply saying “Good Morning”. So if you are already using Google and Google Assistant for many of your daily endeavors, this device will be simple to use and set up. If not, it will take a little more time to get everything in place (Google account, etc.) but it is worth it. Finding home automation products like Wemo switches and Hue bulbs was quick and painless. And, unlike other big name voice assistants, Google Home Hub has access to YouTube videos and Podcasts! While the screen is not 4K worthy, it more than does the job of displaying videos and information. Likewise, the speaker in this Hub isn’t my home stereo surround system, but it is more than adequate for listening to podcasts, background music and videos. It easily fills a room with sound, albeit not creating your own personal disco… I thought not having a built in camera might be a limiting factor but I found it not to be an issue (not too keen on having an “Always On camera) staring at me.. If you are starting out in the world of voice assistants or need an alternative to Alexa this is the product to have! Good Shopping!

Purchased this for my grandmother (94 years old) and she loves it! My family all add photos to a shared album for her as it was mostly to be a photo frame for her. She has gotten "fancy" and uses Google Duo calling and even asks it questions now and then. Maybe not the most advanced user on the planet, but it's very easy to use and she absolutely loves it!

As a beginner in the smart home world, the hub is a great item. I love that I can speak to google upon entering my home to turn on my lights, especially when my hands are full. The set up was quick and easy. The interface of the google home app is appealing to the eyes, and it looks great sitting on my kitchen counter with my photos as a digital photo frame. Definitely would recommend this product.

I have one in several rooms such as on my front living room area, on the kitchen, bedroom and office and she shed. Getting on for my arts and crafts room next. I love them because they don't take up much space and yet have so much to offer, example...giving the time, asking quick questions, setting reminders, playing my favorite music while I am relaxing, cooking or working.

I was given a Google Home Mini Christmas 2017 and enjoyed it. Fun, low cost, and helpful. Christmas 2018 came and my GF gave me the Google Home Hub -- it is spectacular! It really is. I wake up to it every day, it gives me my news, it can send music to my home audio setup (NAD integrated amp, Martin Logan speakers, REL sub), and it is my picture frame showcasing pics of my GF and me. I LOVE THIS THING! Highly recommended.
