I have been in the Amazon Echo family since the Dot Gen2 and expanded into the Show 2, Sonos One and Beam. I purchased the Google Home Hub only because of the holiday promotions that were taking place when I bought my Nest Hello. I ended up putting this in my home office and really do like it as a digital picture frame, controlling my home automation and general questions. The screen is better than I anticipated. My main complaint is no Sonos integration, which I use frequently. This should be coming in 2019 from the looks of it. Otherwise, this is a nice digital display assistant.

Good product. I bought it for my not so tech savi mom and she got the hang of it preety quickly. I will be getting a different version of this hub due to this one not having a camera and she is unable to make video calls. Which was one of the main reasons for getting this hub. It was my fault thought for not noticing that this one doesn't have a camera though other than that it's a good product.

Takes a little time to figure out how to use all the features. Doesn't have a camera like the Google Hub Max. Decent speaker and display.

I treated myself to the Nest 10" for Christmas and it is awesome. My kid wanted one and broke his alarm clock. So this was a belated Christmas present and he was happy the Charcoal color could be shipped to the store, as only Chalk is available for hundreds of miles. He's thrilled with it and it helps him wake up on time for school! Great product.

Like my google minis, I use this to play music, listen to the radio, set timers and alarms, ask questions, display recipes. I also have it connected to my smart plugs and bulbs so I only have it ask to turn something on or off. It's also connected to my nest Doorbell so if I'm on the room with this and someone's outside it will show on the display.

I have Alexa and Google threw out the house. This will be my 4th Nest Hub purchase. 90% of my Alexa components are compatible with the nest hub beside the Kevo Door Lock. I purchased the Nest Hub for $49 dollars @ Bestbuy on Black Friday and haven't seen it come down to that price since then. Do not hesitate to purchase when you see it under $50.

I bought a pack of two nest hubs. I use one in the kitchen and another in the bedroom. It comes in handy when I’m washing dishes and want entertainment. The speaker is great and I can hear it through all of my apartment if I have it at the highest setting. Great and affordable I recommend.

This has been a fun upgrade from the small Google Assistant speaker I had before. It's great for recipes, allows for a personalized screensaver of your photos, and offers helpful visuals for search results. I had purchased three additional ones for family members for Christmas thinking we could use them to video call one another, however during setup I was disappointed to learn that this model does not support video calls. I'm always really good about doing my homework and researching a product prior to buying, and I thought I had done a solid job of researching this one, comparing it to similar brands (turns out Amazon's Echo Show does allow for video calls) and was under the impression that I would be able to perform that task with this model. One advertisement showed an image of what appeared to be a video chat. Apparently you are able to accept a video call from someone else and see them on the display, but since this model does not have a camera, the other party won't be able to see you in return. So technically I suppose it does support one way video calls, but not two-way. Very frustrating. Everyone ended up returning them since the intended feature was absent. #ChristmasFail. Had I not already set mine up, I probably would have purchased the Amazon Echo Show instead because the price jump to the next model of the Google Nest Hub was fairly significant. Otherwise, it does a fine job and is fun to have.

I bought this for my mom for Christmas. While she is still learning the ropes, she LOVES that she can ask her Google home to play her some classical music (with video!) whenever she's working in the kitchen! It's a great device, very useful especially when your hands are in use. I love using the timer, playing news stories, music videos, and getting traffic alerts. It's improved our kitchen routine!

Already had the Google Home Mini and some Amazon Echo's around the house. Where the Google Home (both mini and this device) excels is asking for general information or integration with Google Services. If I need an obscure fact or immediate relevant info, this is my go to. Further the integration with youtube is just really cool/convenient since this one has a screen. In my opinion the Echo's are better for controlling smart devices. Their voice recognition used to be so-so, but has steadily improved over the last year. Echo's can not access youtube which is a pain.

This is a must have for owners of smart home devices. I use this for my family photos, smart plugs, light switches, Arlo cameras, alarm clock, intercom, watching YouTube TV, listening to iHeart radio, Nest thermostat, traffic reports, calendar reminders and so much more I’m still discovering. This is perfect for big homes but of course you will need a few more to spread out in your home.

I wasn’t sure what to make of the burgeoning smart home product environment and so I reluctantly moved into this space with a lot of skepticism. The google hub was certainly the best thing for my needs after researching available platforms. An easy to read screen with a relatively simple UI that make every day use simple and automated. If you are just starting out this hub is a great place to start!
