My daughter raves about Google and its ease of use. She gave me a mini assistant awhile back that I never hooked up. I saw this at a discounted price and bought three. I kept one for myself and gave her and my Wife one. Wished I had hooked up the mini earlier ! This and the mini work great together at making our lives easier and more organized. LOVE IT !

Easy to install and connect. Need a little of patient to understand the commands/orders. Decent built-in speakers and microphones.

It can play the actual video from youtube on its 7” screen which I find really cool. Easy to install and connect.

Excellent sound quality and very easy to get its attention

Small and compact, but audio and video performs great. Bummed out it doesn't have a camera, but is much cheaper (and compact) than those that do.

I already own a Google smart hub (without a screen), so adding this to the Google Home app was a really easy setup. This, not only does everything my other hub does, but also displays the information on the screen. Finding recipes, directions or weather is great when it’s visual as well as audio. Streaming from my iPhone also works from certain apps and watching a music video is great.

This Nest hub took some convincing of the wife because I already have about 3 other google assistant devices. However, placing this in the kitchen changed the game. I knew i'd use this whenever i'd be cooking in the kitchen but my wife would have to whip out her phone and constantly touch the screen to keep it from timing out and closing while looking at a recipe. Now, every single time she cooks something she asks this device. She is not a technological person by any means, so the interface that it uses for the step by step process of how to cook something or list of ingredients list allowed someone like her to be able to use with ease. She's even begun to set reminders and events on her calendar through this device and is amazed that it'll show the same events/reminders if she creates it on her phone. I love using it for timers and whenever it expires, I don't have to use the cue phrase "hey/ok google" to get it to stop, I can just say "Stop". She has even begun using the media capability of Spotify while in the kitchen. Turning a person who hates technology into a believer and a constant user is a win in my book. However, I wish I had waited until the larger version of this came out, don't think I can justify getting a second one in the kitchen.

I'm putting this in all rooms of my house so I can see the front door via Nest Hello. Other times, it's used as a nice looking picture frame. It does have decent sound quality, so I'll be replacing my Google Home Mini with it as well. It works as a chromecast display device, so you can play youtube videos on it. For the paranoid - I also like that this device doesn't have a camera. Cons: Netflix won't work on it yet. And youtube app's navigation is almost non-existent if you want to use it without a phone.

I love these lights but still can’t get them to dim correctly.

As with all of the nest Hub products by Google this one is amazing. We like the fact that this one does not have a camera so that the kids can use it as their morning alarm. Many great functions to keep the kids entertained, from story time, to Trivia Games to Netflix and several music options like Apple Music or Spotify.

This is so easy to set up and use. It was a good value for the price. I set it up primarily for the flowing pictures for my mother and the whole family can add pictures from where they live around the world. My mother is loving this as a gift and she loves that she can just sit next to it and observe the pictures coming in.

great device. Placed it in the kitchen as has been very useful, specially when i paired it with the hue lights and the nest devices i have. I can see who rings the bell, change the temperature and also turn on and off the lights. great for listening to music, the speaker are not that great but still ok. I purchased 3 of them and put them all over the house

The only reason I cannot give this 5* is it was a real pain to set up. It didn't want to stay connected to the wireless network. We ended up calling support, going through a bunch of nonsense before they said it was a bad unit and to exchange it. So we did and the new one worked flawlessly. So, assuming you get a good unit, it's great! We have it in the kitchen, it's great for music and whatnot but also for when you have a question..."hey google, find a recipe for ----" "hey google, how many teaspoons in a cup" etc etc

The Nest Hub allows my family to bring together smart home devices we have to one place, from our doorbell to our thermostat to the lights. Each morning, know what kind of weather to expect on my commute, and the Nest Hub is able to differentiate each member of the household by voice. Plus, when not being actively used, it makes a lovely live photo frame.

I have an Echo and was tired of having to be so specific with my wording with Alexa. I don't have to add any skills and you pretty much ask questions like you would type into a search bar. My only thing is, I love the drop in feature of the Echo. You can use it as a two way intercom. I think this only broadcasts one way. I may just not be doing it right.
