I was kind of on the fence when looking at this product because of the price, but was well worth it. My internet was inconsistent jumping from 100 mbps to to barely one with my old router. Now I have connection in the whole at full capacity. Well worth if you afford the price. Can also buy more points if you have big house.

Has a good length for WiFi. Connecting wasn’t complicated like I thought. Took me about 30 min to set-up everything. I would have some no connection with the router and I would have to reset and connect again but it was easy to reset. The no connection was due to the power outage or other experience, nothing due to the router. Might get an extra extender later, for the color !

I was having Internet issues with sudden slowness and dreaded of all, sudden drops. With virtual schooling and work, this was not satisfactory. Tried multiple routers and still no change. Decided to try the Google Nest Wifi product and suddenly, no issues. Internet connectivity has been strong and no sudden drops.

A game changer! Working from home, and my daughter attending school via zoom, we were challenged. The Google Nest Wifi Mesh Router and Point extended our wireless internet coverage amazingly. Before buying this product, we struggled with choppy video and garbled audio. Not any more! Highly recommend.

Bought this to help extend the wifi in my 2 story, 800 sq ft condo. The Cox owned modem is downstairs, and getting a reliably strong signal upstairs to a couple of smart TV's was sometimes kind of iffy. These install quickly and easily, but as I've been finding out, the satellite receiver upstairs often loses contact with the main unit downstairs, even though when I test the mesh connection it says they have a "great" connection. This usually requires power cycling the satellite receiver to get back in operation. In another home, I have a (much more expensive) Netgear Orbi system with a main and satellite receiver to cover twice as much area as in the condo using the Nest, and those two units never lose contact with each other. If you want a relatively inexpensive mesh, get this. If you want great reliability, get the Orbi.

Hi Realist, thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you came across connectivity issues with Nest Wifi.

The Nest Wifi router can cover up to 2200 square feet. Each Nest Wifi point can cover up to 1600 square feet. However, Wi-Fi signal coverage may be affected by different factors and we recommend trying out some tips below to help isolate the issue:
      - As a general rule, points work best when they’re no more than two rooms away from each other. For example, if the far end of your house has weak Wi-Fi, don’t put a Wifi point in that exact spot. Instead, put it part way in that direction. Try to place it in an elevated position like on a shelf.
      - Building materials and other objects located between your Nest Wifi Points and mobile devices may slow your connection. If possible, try to use your device within a clear line of sight to your primary and secondary Points.
      - There could be signal interference due to traffic on your Wi-Fi network, on your neighbors' Wi-Fi networks, or from other sources like microwaves or baby monitors.

If you'd like us to take a look at the issue, feel free to contact our support team so we can help you further. You can visit our help page using this link: https://support.google.com/wifi/gethelp Nest

Well, not too much different about the Google Nest WiFi setup as far as other routers I've setup in the past. Great speeds, excellent coverage with the added Point, but there is one gripe. No additional ports, except for the one Ethernet port on the back. I use multiple devices that work better with a hard wire over wifi. Like my PS4, WiFi camera setup, Apple TV for streaming, etc.. Now everything has to be over WiFi. Also, i used the USB 3.0 port for DLNA connectivity to stream music and videos that are on a portable hard drive. Yes, you could setup a shared drive and set it up on your devices, but that does not play well with cellphones, tablets, gaming systems, smart TVs, etc that need the DLNA. I do love the extended range that the point/s can give if you need more coverage. With the built in Google Assistant, you can control it and listen to music too. So it can replace an existing Google Home speaker. The speaker on one the point is comparable to the Google Home first gen. Not too much bad about the setup except for the non existence of much needed ports for additional connectivity. One other fact, this is great for families, as you can control certain devices as to when they have internet connection active. You can turn it off at 9pm and re activate it at 6am to be sure the kiddos go to bed. Google did good, but I can't recommend this unless you want to do additional setups for media servers.

Before opening these up, we realized the less powerful, less expensive Google mesh model would meet our needs, so returned this to Best Buy. The return was quick easy. We bought the less powerful model, which was easy to set up and has given us 100% reliable connectivity.

only thing i would complain about is when you have kids and you turn off mic all they have to do is touch the top and it loudly say flip the switch to turn it on .. not keen on them asking google for things or maybe accidently opening a door or light ... you can turn off the light so its less appealing to the eyes
