Great potential

However, the 2nd router regularly goes mute even when connected to Bluetooth. Everything will show as connected and playing but sound will not come out. You have to disconnect everything and start from scratch. Sometimes unplugging and plugging back in. First world problem but for the price it’s pretty sad. The potential is there, the follow through is not.

Posted .Hi, thanks for sharing your experience with us. We're sorry to hear that one of your Nest Wifi Point is muting regularly.
If you haven't tried yet, resetting Nest Wifi Point may be helpful in fixing the muting issue when connected via Bluetooth. If you reset a Point from the app, it'll delete all settings and data from your point, Cloud services, and the Google Home app. It'll also remove that Wifi device from your Google Account. To reset, here are the steps:
- Open the Google Home app.
- Tap the name of your Point > Settings > Factory reset Wifi Point > Factory reset.
- After you factory reset a device, you’ll have to set up your Nest Wifi Point again.

T was wonderful powering hose house sonos install and many devices. I had 3 AC 1200 points at 2500 sq bch house work windfalls so opted to try the upgraded newer ac2200 system for my new 3000 sq house so far so good just added another home Lorain to ogle home app and seu was a breeze. Thanks Google.

Once setup was completed it's been smooth sailing. Love the ability to setup groups of devices that I can control with a schedule. Helped enforce kids going to bed and not staying up too late on school nights playing online. Miss some of the control that I had with previous routers, but the coverage with these almost out weighs the loss of control. Reporting of web-use could be better as could the ability to black list categories of sites.

I live in a apartment on the 4th floor and I am able to stay connected to my wifi even when i am in the courtyard in the Apartment (ground floor directly below my apartment). So I am fairly certain this works well in multi floor houses as well. The google voice assistant is alsovery useful and it is easy to integrate with other home devices on the same network.

What isn't there to love? The only downside I see is the inability to connect wired devices to the system, but I was able to use a spare router to accomplish that, so it is a minor quibble. Having used several different types of wireless routers over the years, this is by far the least amount of effort I've put in for an installation. Well worth the investment, especially if you can catch it on sale.

I placed it there because it was central and it did pretty well until we started adding roku enabled TV's all over. I was able to install the router unit in the garage where the internet company installed their box and placed the satellites around the house. The Google app made it easy to move the satellites around the house until I had excellent connections everywhere.
