I have an AT&T modem/router with internet. If you have a modem/router combo from your internet provider, you disengage the router. Directions can be found online. The Google router is connected to the modem /router by ethernet cable. Try to set up the Google router in a central location of your house. After the Google router is working, you setup the point (wireless) in a location one or two rooms away. You set everything up using the Google Home and Google wi-fi apps. I have a 2,400 sq. ft. house and I have good coverage. I think it is better than the coverage I had with the AT&T modem/router and an extender added. The Point has Google Assistant built in, but the router does not. I am very happy with it.

Easy set up. Follow the directions on the app and you are set. The app allows you to see the strength of your internet and each access point. After a couple of months everything is running smoothly and have had no problems.

The setup was really easy. I had been having problems with components of my old WiFi system regularly needing troubleshooting. I’ve been using this for about a month without so much as a need to reset the router. Very easy.

This product is easy to set up and start using. The down side is they have weak signals when performing a mesh test in the app. Even if an access point is near the router the point can still measure a weak signal in the app. I am not sure this is the best mesh wifi system.

love my google wifi mesh system! Super easy to set up and use plus it allows you to manage your settings with the google home app.

100% Improvement of my wifi signal around the house. Used to have problems with the signal on second floor, but thanks to the Wireless Point, problem gone. Excellent product and very easy to setup, any child can do it.

Plug and play - easy install. It’s helped repeat our signal in the house. Has voice features I haven’t even used. The app is handy and easy to understand. Highly recommend.

I needed to replace an older router and this was perfect. It has also come with a point used as a wireless extender. It is fast and efficient. It also has Google Assistant and can stream your music.

With suggestions from others who had used this product with good outcomes, I decided to give it a try. It has been a few weeks and it’s working great! We have AT&T fiber internet and pay a lot for it, however it has never worked properly in over 3 years. AT&T is of no help stating there was no problems, but the WiFi was extremely slow and we never received the speed we should have gotten. After research- found out their routers are not capable of distributing the high speed but you cannot just replace their router, you HAVE to have it. So using their router as a bridge and using Google’s router solely as my WiFi it has worked extremely well! Irritated that I cannot save money by not renting their router but I have no choice.

We had 3 of the older pucks but wanted to add these to the network. It was a pretty easy set up. Within 45 minutes, I had the whole thing humming and all access points were happy. I recommend it for home use.

This Nest Wifi was a great value for the cost. I have a 4 level house and it boosted the FIOS connection so that we can now utilize our internet service on every level without any issues.

Im a big Apple fan for the connectivity and way the systems work together, but the Apple Homepod was a big letdown. The Google Nest line is fantastic, easy to use, and i wish the Homepod was HALF as functional

I'm not so sure about this updated wifi mesh router. If you have gigabit internet, you definitely don't want this system. It caps out at 612 Mbps. I like that it's backward compatible with it's predecessor. And I like that the Google Home app has been updated to incorporate much of the functionality of the Google Wifi app. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be the most reliable system. I frequently experience issues with the Wifi point dropping it's connection despite moving it closer to the router. It's also not the best at identifying connected devices. It also doesn't support Wi-Fi 6.

I bought this because I have a lake house and needed to get wifi to my dock. I setup the first to the router in a couple of minutes and then set up the next two without any problems. The coverage is pretty good.

This mesh router is really good to cover a 2 story house with WiFi a Hugh upgrade from a single router, and I love the smart speaker ability it’s a neat feature it’s a really good combo for what you get.

I PURCHASED THESE TO REPLACE THE OLD GOOGLE MESH SYSTEM (OVER 8 YEARS AGO). I LOVE THE CONTROLS IT OFFERS AND THE SIMPLICITY OF SET UP. I WAS ALSO ABLE TO REPURPOSE THE OLD ONE'S TO EXPAND THE NETWORK EVEN FURTHER

I had poor internet coverage at my condo due to all the block walls. The Google system gives me awesome coverage even on my balcony. Could not be more pleased and it was so easy to set up.

i had challenges with the home network speed. It boosted the performance the moment i got this in. and performance is consistent as well.

Got this a little over a week ago. And am really enjoying it can see what is accessing the wifi. And can shut it off has good coverage throughout the house

First, the positives. This is easy to setup and it does reach a good distance with just the main router. Download speeds only slightly trailed off as you got further from the router. But the big negative is upload speed. It absolutely THROTTLED my uploads over WiFi. The router was within 6 feet of my computer but I was getting 1/6th of the speeds I got with my 3 year old Asus router. If you, like me, spend any time uploading large files DO NOT BUY.
