This is a great workhorse for our small office (5 cpu stations). We had to finally replace our switch after 3 years of usage...and the only reason our previous one went down is it got over heated due to our set up of stacking the modem on top of the switch on top of the wireless router. Little spendy....but obviously you get what you pay for. Our IT professional originally suggested this model and it continues to be impressive.

Works without any issue. Truly plug-n-play. I set this up in a home where we needed to split the wired networking up in a closet to provide internet to the rest of the house. Much more stable and better speeds than WIFI. Also, it is quiet and doesn't use much electricity. A great, simple switch!

Nice build. Easy to use, just plug and play. I'm on gig internet and download speeds are around 500Mb/s. Tested with multiple consoles and pc concurrently with no lag.

I bought this switch for client on short notice, although I am no stranger to NETGEAR devices, they buil solid switches and routers, and this switch is not different. this unmanaged switch just works without issues, and I have had no complaint from the client.

This 16 port switch was a no brainer to hook up. Worked right out of the box, no setup required. Works perfectly. Best Buy matched Amazon's price but could not match a $25 rebate. Best Buy has always done right by me, they upgraded my shipping without additional charge and I had the option to return it to a retail store if I was not satisfied so I bought from them anyway.

I needed to purchase this to replace a old switch. Does everything it says it does no issues so far. I did not think id need 16 ports but once they were available I came up with all sorts of things to plug into them. I would buy again hard to go wrong with Netgear products.

I have had the problem of having to unhook one device while I plug the other one in put with this I just plug it in and plug the rest of my stuff into this. I would use wireless but I am a technician and have to download a lot. This keeps me from slowing down and it is great because I only have to plug in something once and it is done.

I bought this switch to replace a 5 port switch I was using in my home network because I needed more ports and was worried that an 8 port unit wouldn't be enough in the long run. It works great. I removed the 5 port unit I was using, plugged all the cables into the 16 port unit, plugged it in and everything just worked.

Great upgrade to connect many items to a corded network. Not everything can use wireless. Easy to connect and no configuration necessary.

Perfect for lan connections to a PC, including merchant point of sale machines, Cisco voip telephones, printers, etc. Best and most stable expansion up to 16 ports. Way better than 4-port dongle in terms of speed and traffic management. This is a smart switch.

Really like the extra ports, wired house to central closet and needed more ports. Works well and no performance issues with multiple XBoxes, Gaming PCs and work computers all running of same switch. Been running for over a year with no issues.

I purchased this 16 Port ethernet switch so I could better manage the multitude of hubs necessary to manage the Smart Home cacophony of an early adapter. Not only does it have sufficient ports to manage my Wink, Philips Hue, Insteon, Caseta Lutron, SmartThings, Luma, and Wigwag hubs, there is room for the extra hub that suddenly died and is now a 'brick' and (my original gateway drug into this abyss) the TCP hub which is now both a brick and an 'orphan' (discontinued and/or company totally out of business). It dutifully flashes day and night in an exuberant blue and has a worker bee like click to it as well so that's something you and your impressionable guests may find comfort and security within the warm embrace of a data collection goldmine cocoon in the sanctity of your home 24/7/365.

There is not much to say about Ethernet switches other than this model is very reliable and quick to do its job. I have never had a problem with these switches other that a bad lightning strike a few years ago that wiped one out along with most of the electronics in the house.

I had an 8 port netgear router that works great but I needed 9 ports due to a recent computer additon. This router works great no problems. Only negative I can think of was the instructions page was so huge. It seriously opened up to a 5x5 foot piece of paper. However only a tiny square of that was in English.

We recently moved into a home that has Wi-Fi challenges. The previous owner had wired multiple ethernet cables to work from each of the room into one location but took the switch with him. Our security company suggested I purchase the Netgear system. It took minutes to set up and has worked like a charm!

This 16-port Netgear Switchbox is how all switchboxes should be made: good quality, long-lasting, and great performer. I'm very pleased with the easy set-up process, and the total performance from the device. A++ all around. Keep this one on the shelves at Best Buy.

The switch works really fast/and well for small single network/office home environments,( 1-10 computers), and is very easy to configure, Although its unmanaged, Not recommended for segmented networks.

I had to get more extention adapters for my businesses computers, registers and printers. Install was 1 2 3 easy no brainer. I've never incurred any problem using any of NetGear products. Top of the line in its line of performance. Don't settle for less go the best NetGear!!!!
