Since then the DOCSIS 3.1 specification was released but at this point in time I don't really need the extra speed and as soon as GoNetSpeed is offered in my area I will be moving to their superior right to the house fiber optic network.

Only modem with landline

This one provides telephone if you still use a landline. Hook up was easy and quick. Just remember this does not have Wi-Fi so you will have to buy a separate Wi-Fi router. It easily matches with orbi’s. I researched a long time and this was the only telephone jack able modem that didn’t cost over $200.

Better than renting from Comcast

This pays for itself in 6 months and with the 4-year warranty it's an immediate replacement if there is a problem. So rather than having to go to Comcast, Best Buy is the same distance and the exchange is a lot faster!
