Even though it’s highlighted as having 4 Ethernet ports, after you struggle with installation and getting it to work correctly, you’ll read the operations manual only to find that only one of the ports actually works. The best the tech support woman could offer when asked why, was ‘in case the first one doesn’t work, you have others you could use, and if the first 2 don’t work you can use the third, and so on’. It’s supposed to be for future functionality, but it’s beyond me why they would be marketing it as having 4 ports but not enabled to use as a simple switch. I finally bought another switch (another $15) to install right next to this and after literally hours of trying to get it working it’s functional.

We bought this modem to replace the Comcast Modem/router with Voice. Paying $11/mo didn’t seem to make sense when we could recoup our investment by purchasing our own modem. It is working well and I highly recommend for data & voice.

Took the advice of my cousin and purchased this router and returned my Comcast router. Not only did I save myself the monthly fee, but my download speed was faster! And it still allows me to use Comcast land line phone service.

Needed a router with a phone line connection. The traffic meter records your data usage on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. It would be nice if it broke it down by each user but maybe that will come with a later update.

I have owned this for approximately one month don’t see a lot of difference but we have had no problems a little bit better than what we had before so I guess I would recommend it

The modem works well with internet, but voice does not work. I called Xfinity and they said the voice will not work for this modem even though it’s advertised on the Xfinity website as voice compatible.

Great Modem for my Wi-Fi - it works great! It doesn't matter where I am with my computer in the house! The connection is great!

This is another great product from Netgear. It provides excellent service in our home in combination with Nighthawk R7450 WiFi router.

I purchased this modem because Xfinity just upgraded my plan, adding the voice capabilities. This modem has a very decent speed & telephony features. The price is just average, I'm not consider it very cheap.

I bought this product on 2/20/20 . I am not a tech wizard and I have had no problems with my internet, phone or cable service.

Had to up date my modem because of cable company new bundle for cable. I need a modem that had a phone hook up. And this NetGear fit the bill and saves my money over the new bundle life of 12 months.

Product works for XFinity. However you have to contact Comcast to activate the modem and it took me couple hours with two different technician. The first technician had problem activating the phone line, fortunately the second one was able to fix it.

Bought this modem and paired it with a gaming router and couldn’t be happier transformed my WiFi to new heights in out apartment

I replaced the Comcast supplied modem with this NetGear item. Saved $11 per month. Was not super easy to pair with router, but NetGear customer service was great and helped get it working.

Netgear modem and voice works great on Comcast/Xfinity. Little used landline has sustained life with this device. Savings on rental fees after first year.

When I first started to install the switch seems somewhat overwhelming but as I look just took my time if you came very easy to do and if I did have a problem with always someone that I was able to kind a general on our side

I went with this modem because it also had a port for the landline that we have. Not all modems have that capability. It was an easy set up and pretty easy call in to the cable provider.

I switched my landline phone's provider to a cable provider and need a modem that can handle voice. This Netgear modem was perfect for the purpose.

I needed to upgrade my cable modem and at that time I decided to transfer my home landline to VOIP. This cable modem also has phone/voice capability.

Bought this to replace Comcast monthly pay modem. Works fine, no difference across all my networks.
