    I just purchased a new modem today because this one had problems with keeping a connection. Nothing more frustrating than having a dropped Internet connection during an important exam or meeting! Hopefully, the Netgear AC1900 C7000 model will be more reliable.

    i was hoping the sales guy knew what about what he was selling i have a modem that ie wired to the telephone line, he assured me this would work, later it was returned. Called AT&T to get a newer modem that i could connect to

    I am a bit perplexed. My bill was a couple of days late after the bill came. the service would drop out. I would have to reboot the system. I paid THE BILL AND THE SERVICE GOT BETTER. MMMMMMMMMMMMMM. what a deal??????

    We purchased this modem on July 11, 2020, but didn't actually have it in use until the end of July. Now, here is is, September 17, 2020, and my internet was not connecting. After trouble shooting with our service provider, I was told the Port #1 was burnt out. I connected into Port #2, which does still work, thank goodness. The majority of other reviews are pretty good. We may have just had that rare malfunctioning product! I did call the store, waited about 16 min. for them to answer my call, and made sure there was no way to return it, since we did not purchase a protection plan.

    Xfinity could not get it to connect

    Xfinity was unable to register this modem on their platform even though it is an approved device. Went round and round with Comcast and all I was told was that I had to pay for a tech to come out. I gave up and used the stupid X1 gateway CC provided, and wouldn't you know a tech wasn't needed. Comcast sucks and I will never buy another Netgear product again. Also I have a NG router that requires a cell phone app to set up to use instead of web interface, not sure if I can even still use it after I purchase a non NG modem. I'd put in bridge mode to see but still a pain inn the...

    This product was purchased to replace the rental of a Comcast modem. It proved to not be powerful enough to handle our requirements so we returned to Comcast, unfortunatley.

    I specifically searched for a modem for DSL not cable. your sight said this would work but it does not. then because of a pandemic I wait till your store reopened to return it, but you won't take it back even though your site recommended the wrong device and I was 4 days waiting in a pandemic for your store to reopen. the last TV I purchase was $5000 an you will never see me again because of this wrong item.

    Bought this modem at the store. The customer rep said it would be powerful enough and work well within my system. In the year that I have owned it I have had to by a better router and now I have to get another modem because this one isn’t equipped with enough Ethernet spaces to upgrade my security. This is only ok if you want a basic modem to save the rental fee from the cable company.

    Just would not work with my Spectrum Triple Play. Would not connect with the phone. Neither the Geek Squad nor the Spectrum tech could get it to work. Returned

    The salesman, as well as the box, said this item would be compatible with Comcast..i tried to hook it up so that I could eliminate Comcast Cable. Comcast tried for several hours to guide me through the hookup process. I was trying to eliminate renting Comcast modem, which costs $14/mo. I ended up returning it. I'm still renting from Comcast.

    Bought this in a pinch when my nighthawk broke after 7 months and this was all best buy had in stock, I returned it the next day and purchased something else. It had nonstop drops with my eero pros. I will never buy anything from netgear again, complete garbage and the customer service is worthless.

    Not for use with Atlantic Broadband.

    I bought this unit for modem to be used for Atlantic Broadband internet in New Hampshire and for some reason it will not connect . I was told for some reason this will not work half the time. How to replace it with a different make.

    After the setup, I had a difficult time registering with Comcast. The item had been previously registered by another owner 3 months earlier!!! Extremely disappointed with Netgear and their nonexistent customer guarantee.
