Have Xfinity internet. Replace slower modem with new voice modem. Works as expected. Don't have to pay monthly charge. Win-win..

Easy set up, works with Comcast seamlessly, no frills, but gets the job done. I'm not a streamer or gamer, just an internet browser/user so it fits my needs just fine.

This router is highly efficient and provides 300 mb download speed of my current service. It works very well with my Nighthawk router and provides extremely fast speeds to all my home devices which I would say 10-12 are constantly running when my entire family is home. If you decide on getting Xfinity voice added to your cable plan and already have a wifi router, this modem is a superior option if you have the 300 mbps or less plan.

Modem is small, doesn't take up a lot of space. It easy to set up.

Due to AT&T no longer able to support our landline phone we were forced to switch to VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) for our home phone. This necessitated our purchase of this product -- we had to replace our existing modem with a voice-capable modem. This modem seems to work fine and the price was right -- not as expensive as some of the other voice-capable modems that Best Buy sells.

I wanted to lower Comcast bill so I purchased this modem. I went to Comcast website to find compatible modem to purchase that would meet my needs for internet & phone. Setup was simple, a call to Comcast to recognize my modem and I was good to go. I was paying around $11-12 a month to rent a modem so it was worth buying. I should have done it sooner!

Was having trouble with the modem/router supplied by Xfinity not staying in bridge mode and causing problems with my NetGear router that I had hooked to it. After some research I found out I could buy my own modem without the built in router. Solved my problem and also saving me lots of money over the long run. I was paying $12 a month to rent the one from XFinity so it will pay for itself in about 10 months! Wish I had none years ago!

I had a Motorola modem prior and it was a very good performer however I needed to have outputs for a digital phone line We use net gear hardware at work and it's always been very dependable so I decided to purchase one for my home use and I'll tell you I will never go back net gear's get my back

I didn't really want to buy this, but was told by my cable/internet/phone provider that my older cable modem was either out of date or about to fail in the next few days (depending on which customer service person you talked to). New modem works fine, and installation was super easy (not the case with my earlier modem, which I purchased rather than spending many more $$ to lease). In-store support was also super helpful!
