Just what I needed for my in-laws to move off the Xfinity gateway rental kit. Internet is now faster and this allows 2 phone lines to be connected which was vital. I connected to Orbi for router and the internet speeds are waaay better! Only one Ethernet port which is only very minor criticism. Great product

This is so much better than the the one we had with Comcast. I thought the issues we were having was my computer. I was so wrong! It was the Comcast modem. Now everything is just awesome.

I wanted to get away from rental fees and bog downs from using the cable company's equipment. I went into bestbuy and told them that I need a router that can handle 4 fire sticks, 3 laptops, a playstation and multiple phones. They recommended this router and it's fantastic. No issues at all with buffering and no background snow when the connection was poor enough to play but not buffer. I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a exactly what I was.

It works great for what I need it for. Buying and owning your own equipment is always cheaper than renting from your service provider. And they are usually faster than the “all in one” equipment they have you use. Comscast is supposedly providing me 150mbs but all speedtests tell me I am getting 180mbs on this modem.

Super easy to set up. Also small, compact and sleek.

This modem/gateway device was very easy to set up. The quick start guide pretty much summed up how to replace your leased Comcast cable modem w/voice with this owned modem w/voice. Within 5 minutes we were activated and online with a dial tone. I'd recommend this to anyone that has Comcast's double or triple play.

After one failed attempt of purchasing a modem without voice capabilities, I got it right with this one. Works with Xfinity/Comcast services for phone and internet. By the time I installed it, this grandma felt very comfortable hooking it up.

Now I am free of paying XFINITY equipment rental each month, and now I can combine this modem with the router of my choice for even better wifi coverage in my home.

Not much to say about this modem. It provided the highest level of bandwidth with Xfinity. I've had absolutely no issues with it. Like any modem, just make sure it can handle the max bandwidth, and that it's supported by your ISP before you purchase.

Installed with no issues and connection to Xfinity was painless

I have been using this router almost a full year now & the only problems I’ve had have been on the Comcast side of things. Consistent connection, good range (I live in a 2 story house & only have issues with connecting when stone is between me & the router) & good bang for your buck (it’s not cheap but worth the extra money).

My first unit died in less than a month or so. Luckily it was still within a month and I was able to get a replacement from the local store. The second one worked since then. I constantly got around 400 Mbits/s when my subscription was 300 Mbits/s. But recently my cable subscription was upgraded to 600 Mbits/s. The modem just cannot catch up even according to its spec, it should be able to handle "up to 640 Mbits/s. The best I could get is around 500-520 Mbits/s. I have checked with my ISP several times and they claimed that the single to my modem is pretty strong. Also the outside cable was replaced recently. So the 'limitation' mush be the modem itself.

I'm one of the few people still using regular cable for tv services. I needed a new modem and this did the trick with Xfinity. I had problems getting it connected, because you have to call Comcast which is always a nightmare. After initial installation, everything works great.
