Purchased this modem in December of 2019. It has worked flawless. It is easy to set up and make changes. We have Comcast cable and do not want to pay the high rental rates for the modem. It works great with Comcast internet.

I bought this to replace an older modem. The speeds are almost twice as fast as my old modem. I also replaced my router with the google wi-fi 3 pack and I have tremendous speeds throughout my entire home.

Needed a new modem because I was adding voice/phone to my internet package. This modem works perfectly; its been running for 3 months with no problems. All the speed I need. Simple install.

Works well; has the jack in the back for the phone; and pays for itself after a few months because I no longer have to pay my cable provider the monthly rental fee for the modem. This one works better than the one we used to rent from our internet provider.

Comcast said I should replace modem to get the speed I am paying for. I have "triple play" Choose this modem. Easy to install & my speeds doubled. I use Eero as my router. I'm not able to "stream"

I needed a new cable modem that supported a landline. I already had a separate router. The salesman suggested this product. It was much cheaper than the model with a router built in. It was easy to set up. I was back on line in minutes.

We had to get a new model when we switched providers, and this one was fine. We already had a great router, so we just needed a modem for it to connect to. It's been running since we bought it with no issues.

I purchased this NETGEAR - DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem - Black to save money. Why rent a cable modem when you can purchase one. This cable modem was a great purchase and very easy to install and get activated. I am very pleased with it and highly recommend it.

Work right out of the box only thing I had to do was call xfinity to activate my modem.after that I had internet and back online.

I was shopping for a new modem for my internet cable company and one of the Best Buy employee show this model to me and tell me that will do the job. So far so good and I do not have any problem with it at all___good product.

Works fine. Was easy to install. Others have reported they run a bit warm, it does not have a lot of ventilation holes, not a problem for me, as it is not installed in a warm or enclosed location.

While updating our internet system, we purchased this modem. We were tired of renting one from Xfinity. This one is great and so easy to install. It made our connection extremely fast and reliable.

Bought it to replace a friend's Comcast older modem. Not many choices with the phone line ports . this ones has 2 and will save him money and keep things running smoothly in the future. This modem will work well into the future.

I had been using my own modem for WiFi, but needed to rent a separate unit from Comcast to support my phone service. I bought this unit to replace that rental. Pays for itself with the elimination of rental fees.

i did not want to rent one from Comcast. So after alot of searching i came across this modem. Worth every penny. With my current comcast package i get 300 down to my desktop. So super fast. my last modem only got me around 150.

A lightning strike to our home forced us to seek a new modem. This one was recommended by an employee with the reasons why. We are pretty satisfied with the performance.

Modem is great but beware this model does not work with Optimum.

Modem is working fine. Set up was very easy. I have however been getting messages from Comcast saying that my modem is not allowing the fastest service. I have not noticed any slow down though.

I needed a VOIP modem compatible with Xfinity, so went with the Netgear CM500V. Setup was very easy; just plugged it in, called Comcast to register it and it worked. This works great if you already have a router.
