I bought this Modem on the recommendation of the Sales Associate that helped me and it was a Great recommendation. It really does the job for which I bought it for.

I have the modem for about a month. Good performance so far. Occasional drop in connectivity . Not sure if its instability of the modem or a comcast issue

Great addition to the use of cable and internet in our new home. Price wasn’t too much and we have not had any issues with it.

Needed a modem that also has voice for phone connections. Works great and very easy to set up. I recommend this product.

Since our Xfinity bundle requires a modem with telephony capabilities, I had a limited selection. This is a great modem, simple to setup with one call to Xfinity.

Worked well but I had to replace this one. The filters did not work well with my internet speed. So I had to get a 3.1

Return your Comcast modem, this modem will pay off itself along a WiFi router. Huge improvement on signal and speed

The modem was delivered as expected and ready to use. However, when I called Comcast/Xfinity to have service connected they said I wasn't in their service area. Even though neighbors all around me are, and Comcast verified that. They said there was nothing they could do about it because the system wouldn't let them change it. Therefore, I had to return the modem. Thank you for providing great customer service Best Buy.

Didn’t need to contact Xfinity for setup and am now reaping the benefit of not paying rental fee. This has paid for itself already the first year.

The modem while economical has functioned well. It has served the purpose of replacing an expensive cable modem. I am satisfied with this purchase as it will pay for itself in less than a year

Didn’t want to use the router that Comcast provided me so I did some research and found this as an alternative. Has worked flawlessly since day 1.

The unit was very reasonably priced so I could stop being charged monthly for a Comcast supplied phone modem. I am not using this modem for internet, only phone.

Don't know much about electronics but netgear is a dependable name that has always performed well for me.

I recently setup the CM500V to replace the Xfinity modem I had been renting for far too long at ~ $13/month. I works great and will pay for itself in 10 months. Currently using for data (150MB up; 10MB down) and 1 VOIP phone line. Note: unlike other network equipment which you may be able to setup on your own, you actually need to call Xfinity to configure this for you. Their network won't talk to this modem until you call to setup. My call took ~ 90 minutes until the modem was up and running. (Xfinity support was very helpful through this whole process.)

Buy your own rather than rent from your internet supplier - much cheaper in the long run and this is a better performer.

Purchased this because I need to save money; couldn't afford paying expensive cable fees. This product was worth purchasing.

Bought this to replace an older netgear cable modem so I could take advantage of faster speeds. Hoping that it lasts as long as it's predecessor!!
