I'm using this to split an ethernet cable to 2 desktops. I maintain about 180Mbps download speeds on my new machine alone, and it splits to 100/80 with the old desktop if both are tested together. So, it does exactly what it's supposed to in a clean fashion. Just don't expect full speed on all devices at the same time.

Works as advertised. Have had no issues in the almost 9 months I've had it. Love the clean lines and small footprint, as it blends well on my minimalistic music studio desk workspace.

I split a connection from the router at my home to get me more hard wired connections at my desk. Doesn't lose speed and everything is working flawlessly.

These work great. They are an inexpensive way of adding ethernet ports to a single ethernet connection.

Excellent network switch, just plug it in and go. No issues at all. One thing to note -it only has 5 ports, there is no LAN port for the uplink. Older switches used to have a LAN port in addition to the number of ports listed on the product. This means you can only have four devices hooked to this switch.

nice box that helps split the internet signal...works like a charm and not too hot

Connected this switch to one of the internet ports on my Asus router so I could connect a network Brother LaserJet printer and Apple TV on the other side of the room. Once everything was connected, they worked perfectly without any need for special setups. My ISP RCN provides up to 250 mbps speeds and I could not detect any degradation in speed through the switch. This switch is unmanaged (you can't access it via browser), but there is no need for it honestly...

Very easy to install. I wanted to expand my port capacity and this worked great and was very inexpensive. Make sure to compare, this is a gigabit switch!

No frills, but works just fine. Would be nice if mounting screws were included.
