Needed a decent router but doesn't give me the speeds I thought initially would get based on the sales rep reco. May upgrade to something faster.

The extender does what is advertised; sends a really strong wifi signal (3 bars on phone or PS) but only directly above or below it. Signal towards either side isn't as strong. Yes I know this device has antennas on it and I've angled them in direction < or > and won't get three bars anymore on phone or PS. For this reason I only give it 4 stars and not 5.

Modem/WiFi router are in the house in my living room, I store this product outside on my patio (would not recommend but it works for me there) and I can get great coverage to the guest house! With speeds matching what I get inside sitting directly next to the router it's self!! Installation was easy for me but to people new to messing with this kind of stuff it can get difficult (I'm no expert however) just follow the steps word for word and it's great

This unit was very east to set up and responds great. I will be purchasing another one for my office.

I needed to increase my coverage area and this was the perfect unit. Easy set up and works great.

Bought this to try and boost internet across a large house, doesn't quite do what I need it to do.. put in in my rental house and works AWESOME.

I bought this unit to extend WiFi to my garage around 20 feet away. My garage is below my apartment and there is concrete in the way so I needed something with some power. So far, after the short few weeks I've had it, it's working fine. I get full video downloads and Youtube works great. I'll follow up with this after a little more time.

This product is great for those that need to extend the range of their WiFi network(s). Works great, easy setup.

When I purchased the Netgear AC1200 Dual Band wireless range extender I thought that by putting in the opposite area of our house, as our main wireless modem, it would give us a stronger signal and increased speed. It has increased our signal strength but we cannot get the 5G band, only the 2G band from our deck which is only 20 ft away.

For some reason my house is a wifi sink-hole. Tried a couple of the smaller plug-in ones and nothing really did the job so i decided to go all out and just get this monster - worked immediately. Possibly some momentary issues with occasional lost signal but not sure if that's the devices issue or something else. Time will tell.

Our ISP gateway is in the basement and signal was getting interrupted, especially on second floor. We learned that if it doesn’t get a return signal, the gateway resets which drops connections. This device was the most reasonable solution. Sits on a table behind a framed picture in our entrance foyer and repeats a 5 GHz signal.

This extender has changed how I'm able to compute at home. I live about 50 meters from the main house in an apartment, and the internet connection and router that are in the main house would not reach anything in my place except my MacBook Pro. I decided to take a chance on this router being strong enough to pick up the signal as well as fast enough to keep it strong throughout my own house, and I couldn't be happier.

work as expected and much better than USB adapter - it has optional Ethernet port and I use to connect my Legacy printer and audio devices

Works really well! My router in the third floor, I purchase this devise and put in the second floor, and it's cover all area in my house.
