Many appreciate the straightforward setup process. While some find the price a bit high, the positive feedback on performance and range outweighs this concern for most users.

We want to expand our wi-fi to cover more of our house. Even though our original set was old this connected easily, covers a wide area and works really well

I've had this unit for a month now and I've had NO issues at all. Was very easy to set up. I stuck it in a corner in my dining room and have basically forgotten about it. My entire property is now wireless!!

Has been working without problems for 8 months. Set-up was easy with the device software, and complements my Netgear Nighthawk seamlessly. Especially useful in extending the AC band throughout the house.

We live in a Bi-level home and use cable for internet access but the box and router was upstairs in the far side of house and we had little or spotty service on the other side of the house. This solved our issue and now I even get great service in the detached garage/workshop. So we celebrate with a bakers dozen of tacos and Yahoo soda. Gonna give a puppy and chocolate bars to all the grand kids the next time they show up. Did I reach my minimum word count?!?

Easy setup and gets me 120+Mbps upstairs through wireless connectivity to downstairs router. Prior to having the AC1200, I only could get 2.4ghz upstairs (old, large house). I have the AC1200 upstairs directly over the room main router, able to connect to AC1200 with 5ghz and broadcast 5ghz throughout upstairs. Speeds are just about as fast as downstairs.

We have a Cottage behind the main house with a TV that I just added a blu-ray with wireless. The signal from house was too weak to connect. I should also reveal that there is a full size freezer in cottage between house and TV that will block signals. I positioned this Netgrear Extender on top of a book case between TV and freezer in cottage and it delivers a very strong signal to blu-ray now. Set up and programming was a snap.

When I moved my wireless router, I started having troubles in some of the farther areas in my home and garage office. This repeater so far has done the job that I needed. It was an easy set up. WPS did not work for me, because of the age of my current router, but doing the alternative method was quick and simple. I also take advantage of the ethernet ports on the back of the router for my media server and backup server....

First of all, I am not a teck. I have a AC1900 Router located in my backyard shop where the phone, landline, service is. This router is used to service my home that is 300 feet away via line of site. To improve in- home wifi service I use a AC1200 range extender. The AC1200 services two Roku smart tvs, Dish on demand downloads, one desk top and one laptop computer, on occasion simultaneously. I also have to have a second AC1200 range extender upstairs to service the wifi needs. Positive: • The end result of this review is that my home network system works great. • The AC1200 was very easy to set up. Negative: The AC1900 Router works great but, for a non teck, is hard to setup. I had to pay Best Buy Geek Squad to help.

Rebuffing problems with a Roku player (replaced by Roku several times) led me to try a wifi extender. I got recommendations from others and decided on the Netgear Ex6200 to go with my Netgear Nighthawk router. Simple and quick instructions to pair it with the router and placed it in the middle of the upper floor where the Roku is. Before, the roku worked mainly on the longer-range 2.4Ghz band. Now with the extender, the Roku has an excellent signal on the faster 5 Ghz band. So far, no problems after a little over a month.

The extender has great signal strength and speed, but it inexplicably will sometimes kick me off the network and/or its presence will just disappear, making connection impossible. This happens no matter what device I'm trying to connect with.
