I live in a fairly large house, and the wifi from the router didn't reach where I needed it to. The wifi is slower when connected to this device, which is to be expected because it's just a relay, but finally having signal in my room is worth the lag. This model extended the signal further and better than the other wifi extenders the other guys installed. It was more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

this product does the trick. After years of having our wifi be intermittent on our second story I finally decided to purchase this extender. It works as described and solved our wifi issues. Great product. My only regret was not buying it sooner.

I had a solar electric system installed on roof of my workshop and the inverter inside of the building. The building is about 200 feet away from the room I use as my office in my house. The inverter has the ability to be monitored using WiFi. This booster does a great job of boosting the WiFi signal for me to monitor the operation of my solar electric system.

Easy setup, no problems, WiFi throughout the House with fast speeds

I purchased to replace an older model so it would work with my Time Machine which is the newer 802.11ac type. Works flawlessly. I have it sitting on an old refrigerator in my garage (which is not insulated by the way). Only wish it could be wall mounted. It already fell over once but still works great. Even in very cold temps have had no problem. Last night it was around 15 degrees F.

I needed a way to have a LAN connection for a DTV box, TV, PS3 and a Slingbox where I didn't have a in-wall port. This picked up my other wireless router instantly and has 5 wired router ports. Enough for all of my devices. Great product, and only complaint was a somewhat high price on top of my other wireless router.

This is a great addition to our home network. previously, we had issues with wireless reaching the opposite sides and floor in our split level home. after adding this unit we now have full wireless access throughout our home. Very easy to set up.

I set this up to extend wifi into my backyard. My main router is upstairs towards the front of the house with its antennas perpendicular to the direction of the backyard. I installed this extender on top of my kitchen cabinets where my kitchen is at the back of the house, also perpendicular to the backyard, but toward one end. This way, the main router sends its signal to the extender at a 45 degree angle, and the extender sends its signal into the backyard at another 45 degree angle, which works beautifully. Strong signal sitting in the backyard where I was getting close to no signal at all before. I do not notice any latency at all with casual web browsing on iPhones and iPads. The extender has a feature that allows it to use only 5ghz to main router and only 2.4 to wifi clients. But since I have a few walls between the main router and extender, and the fact it works great in its default settings, I do not use this feature. Be sure to follow the clear directions, and VERY IMPORTANT: update to get the latest firmware to for the latest security updates. I highly recommend this device for anyone needing to fill a wifi dead spot around their home.
