    I purchase this Range extender because it got great reviews online. What I did not know was that the speeds would slow down but that is the case in this instance but it does the job adequately and I now have wifi downstairs in my tri-level home where I the wifi router did not reach so I am please so even though it is not the fastest internet connection it does what it needs to do.

    I live in a rural area and switched to Sprint Hot Spot instead of expensive satellite internet. Satellite was limited to 10G of data before it went really slow. The trouble is some of my devices (like the HUE Bridge) required an ethernet connection to the router. With the Netgear WiFi route extender I could pick up the Sprint WiFi and then plug a cable from the Netgear device right to the Hue Bridge. Love it
