This is an amazing product. The range on this device is approximately 10,000 square feet. As a range extender, it works great. However, that doesn't use this extender to maximum capabilities. When setting up this range extender, connect an Ethernet cable from your main router, to this extender. Then, in the Netgear Smart Setup, set the range extender to act as an access point. This will ensure the extender has a direct line from the router, to rebroadcast the strongest possible signal, all across your desired location. This is a great solution for Verizon customers that do not want to purchase another router from Verizon, and have been suffering with unstable wifi. It even has WPS(wireless push to connect). Eliminating the need to type in wifi passcodes.

This product was purchased to extend the range of my ARRIS SURFboard modem. It does extend the rage but I am still running into dead spots. I attribute this to the walls in my pre-war building and I will be making adjustments to position of this device to get the most out of it.

I bought this device so I could get wifi on my back porch. It does allow me to play Pandora outside whereas before the device, I could not. It's strong enough sometimes to search the web, but not real fast. Since I mainly bought it to be able to listen to Pandora, I am satisfied.

Our apartment has a unique issue in that the stairs for the building cut somewhat into our floor plan, and all of the concrete and metal made it impossible to get our wifi to go through the whole house. This fixed the issue immediately. We went from speeds of around 2-5 mbps (if we were lucky) to 30ish on 2.4 ghz and up to 120 on 5ghz. I love it!

This router has helped immensely with my signal issues. However I have to keep switching when I walk upstairs, since the wifi does not automatically switch to the nearest router. However for the price i'd recommend this item. The setup directions were easy to follow also.

So far the product is great, does what I need it to do! I would love to test it under better circumstances though as the Cox internet service where I live is horrible, so I can only rate at 4 stars. Very easy setup, very simple to connect. Worth the price I paid.

This product was easy to set up and has great coverage.

Right out of the box, this extender was easy to pair with my current WiFi unit. I placed it in the far side of the house away from the WiFi router. It has definitely made a difference in improved signal strength throughout the house. I can even pick up the signal outside. This is a must have for the house.

This was the second wifi extender I tried. The first one I spent hours to try and get it to work. This one took me less than 3 minutes and I was up and running. I'd you are looking for simplicity go the netgear route.

I was having problems streaming movies in our family room, which is at the opposite end of the house from our wireless router. We installed the NETGEAR ac1200 range extender halfway between the router and the family room. The signal strength was noticeably stronger, and HD movies stream flawlessly. Absolutely worth every penny!

We have a long single story house and had trouble with WiFi range. This unit seems to help, though you have to keep track of which singal your device is using as you walk through the house. Setup was easy- even for a non-technical person.

I'm not a techy person, but know enough to be dangerous. This extender was incredibly easy to set up and has helped extend the internet service dramatically in our home! We have one room that seems to be a vortex, and with this device that room now has reasonable service, for the first time ever! I recommend this extender.

This extender was easy to setup and after using speedtest apps on all of my devices I can finally say I have excellent wifi throughout the entire house. If you are having issues with low signal strength, install one of these bad boys to resolve the issue.

This is a great access point. It is small and lightweight, and the stand makes it easy to fit on my desk. The firmware is very interesting, allowing you to set it in a variety of modes. I would prefer more options, however it is very easy to set up.

I bought this to connect several systems in my office as my router is located in the garage on the other side of the house and connectivity was an issue. This unit functions as described but is not a standard access point and cannot be setup with the same name as the primary router thus eliminating the ability to roam. However, for my application it works very well - especially on the 5Ghz band. I have had a few issues with interference on the 2.4Ghz band but that's to be expected given the other devices in the house that use it (phone system, microwave, etc.). So, if you need to statically connect several devices to your wireless network, this device is the way to go.

This wifi router extender has done a great job and I am glad I chose to go with this one. I was able to boost my wifi around my house extremely and also hook a hardline from it to my ps4. That boosted the performance of the ps4 by 3 times.
