Before I bought the Netgear range extender I tried a Linksys range extender. The Linksys product performed very poorly, whereas the Netgear range extender worked very well. Good product get one if you want to extend the range of your network.

I does what it says an it does it well setup was very easy and the usb on the extender is a added bonus for media , I live in a totally brick apartment no Sheetrock and signal was still great, just put it in a 1/2 way point between your router an where your looking to extend to and it will work great

It was a little difficult to set up, however when I contacted Netgear support online we had it configured in no time. Great product and support! I have it in the rear of the house to boost the main router out front. The signal strength is great. Both my laptop and smart tv have perfect reception now.

when our cheap repeater failed (chronic overheating - usually about an hour into a 2 hour movie), we had a lot of choices for a replacement. I knew Netgear makes a quality product, from using their commercial gear. I plugged it in, and it connected with the WPS button on my router/modem from Comcast. I was surprised that I could get it right on the first pass. it was also easy to log into (from a cell phone)! And I was able to secure it with new passwords. To be honest, this was much simpler than I anticipated, and has been working well for several weeks without a hiccup.

I purchased this to extend my wifi coverage to outdoors, especially by the pool area. Our WIFI now reaches our ENTIRE yard...I can walk to the street and all the way back to the woods in backyard (which is approx 150 feet from the extender!!!) and still get coverage

I had a problem with my wifi internet reaching different place around my house and this fixed the problem. Now I can get wifi internet anywhere in my home and outside where we spend lots of time. I have a brick house with a metal roof. This product works flawlessly.

My main router is in the basement where my friends and I usually hang out and play games. However, I needed an extender since I have poor signal on the floor above, where I usually am the rest of the week. This product worked great and definitely provides strong signal to my devices.

I bought this to expand the reach of my network and this seems to have accomplished that goal. I don't have any more issues with my internet access when I am at the farthest point from where the router and modem are located.

Set up is straightforward. I have an excellent router and placing the repeater at the furthest distance where I still get a strong signal, the repeater easily matches that distance and more. Much better than my previous name brand repeater. As with all electronics, I hope it continues.

I needed an extender so my kids could receive video signal in their rooms with no buffering. I poured over numerous reviews on extenders and you can get bogged down with all the technical information. My two main criteria were ease of setup and speed. This extender filled both of those requirements. First, setup was a breeze since I had a WPS button on my router. All I had to do was press it a couple of times and it connected to the extender. Second, speed is speed, it's fast. It was probably a little overkill for what I needed but I was willing to pay a few extra dollars for convenience.

I own one already and was so happy with it that I bought one for my parents who have DSL and live in the country. This device gave a wide extension range over about a 2 acre circumference and also sped up their speed. Not sure why it sped it up, but it did. They are so pleased as am I.

I struggled to get a strong (much less fast) signal upstairs. This unit absolutely helped with that. Much better and more reliable signal. Was not able to accomplish the "easy setup" steps outlined, but was able to get it set up using the optional instructions provided.

I set this up expecting to be able to basically plug it in, hit the WPS and go. that part works well and the set up is easy and intuitive. But, then finding a spot where the router doesn't drop the extender has been hard. In fact I have a Net gear wifi router, so I figured they would work seamlessly. Not so. So far the extender drops signals every so often. Not sure if I am going to keep this one. Going to keep experimenting with locations to see if the drops stop. Jury is out.

If you don't want to spend to much money and want something of quality get this wifi extender, easy to install, good online interface. Nether is a really good brand. The bad thing is that looks kind of cheap.

Very easy to set-up. With me, things never go the way they are supposed to when dealing with computers but with the Netgear extender it did. Just follow the instructions and in about 5min you're ready to go. Works great, wi-fii coverage through the entire house.

The router was very easy to set up, but when with it in the house, signal strength can be hit or miss. Granted that is more about the way the house was constructed and less on the quality of the router.

Router is about 30 yards away and signal is 3 out of 5 bars and VERY stable. Setup can be a bit complicated but that depends on individual skill levels. Netgear website support via chat was VERY knowledgeable and helpful. I am very satisfied with this product.

Got this to extend the range from our downstairs router for our upstairs. Easy to set up and configure. Put it upstairs and have good connection for our laptops in both the craft room and bed rooms.
