Easy to setup and configure very reliable and the signal is very strong and provides with a very wide range.

bought this adapter to replace an old internal wifi-n adapter. Was please to see an instant improvement in my wifi signal and stability. since i have a 802.11ac router i was able to use the much less populated 5 GHz band which improved signal quality significantly, not to mention speed. after testing one, i bought a second for my other PC.

This is my second Netgear Wi-Fi adapter. The first is being used on my older model desktop and has worked flawlessly. The AC1200 is an upgrade over the last and is installed on a laptop. Installation was easy and has worked flawlessly as well. My only complaint would be that the size of the adaptor does affect the mobility of having a laptop.

I got this to replace my wife's wifi card as she was having connection issues. I wanted an internal card but they didn't have anything in store. I've never used a USB wifi for a dedicated wifi connection for a computer and was very reluctant but gave it a chance. After installing and using I am very impressed. Excellent signal, fast connection and so far very reliable and no problems.

Works great for streaming movies/TV via ON DEMAND and HBO GO to my tablet. I had a problem with too much interference on the 2.4Ghz band. I live in a highly congestive 2.4Ghz neighborhood (20 + neighbors have 2.4Ghz wireless-N networks). Things are made worse when I used my Bluetooth headphones (also use the 2.4Ghz band), when streaming media to my tablet. My tablet's built in network adapter utilizes the wireless-N band, which only runs on the 2.4Ghz band. My tablet has USB 3.0 ports, so purchasing this NetGear A6210 USB 3.0 network adapter was the perfect solution for me. The A6210 has the ability to use the latest, greatest, fastest and least used wireless-AC band, which operates on the 5.0Ghz band. You can still use the 2.4Ghz band, 5.0Ghz alone, or 2.4Ghz+5.0Ghz together at the same time. This can be set in the properties settings through Device Manager in Windows. However, to use the wireless-AC band you will need a router that has dual band capabilities. I have the NetGear R7000 Nighhawk. This combination works awesome together! The A6210 also comes with a docking cradle that extends further out from your device, which is a brilliant feature. I can easily see how having this hanging out of a port on your device could accidently get bumped and snap off or damage the port. Final thoughts. I would not purchase this if your router does not support dual band or wireless-AC, or if your device that you plan on using the A6210 does not have a USB 3.0 port. If this is the case look at the older/cheaper model below this one.

My son's gaming PC was running on a power-line ethernet adapter and getting speeds of 21Mb download and 2.5Mb upload. This wasn't working well for his online gaming and streaming to Twitch, so we replaced our old router with a new Linksys 1900AC router, using the same power-line ethernet adapter. Things got no better. On a whim, I got this USB Wi-Fi receiver and switched his computer over to it instead. He now gets 53Mb down and 5Mb up, solid. His gaming and streaming are top-notch and I have way more control over the on-off scheduling and bandwidth limiting of his system via the wireless connection. Definite win-win. This has worked without a hitch and has already received one patch update with no problems. Our router is in the corner of the first floor living room and his room is on the opposite side of our two-story, 3000 sq ft house. Range is no issue.

Nice speed, good signal strength and have used with Win 7, 8.1, 10 systems without any problems.

I bought this signal booster to use inside my metal home. The device is very small. I have it plugged into a usb port to push signal further into the house. We currently are using mifi was internet source as we live in the country. The mifi is in the bedroom window and the booster is in the kitchen. I really like it. The pic on the box does not clearly show that the booster is corded, but it is!

I was looking for something to replace an older Netgear Wireless Adapter and this one was exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to set up. I used the disk that came with it because the software from the support site did not seem to work on my Windows 10 desktop. I used the disk to get the configuration going, then I upgraded to the new firmware. Works as expected. Speed is good considering all my wireless devices.

I purchased this device to easily allow my tower PC to access the WiFi at my house. It was extremely easy to install and to my complete surprise is actually significantly faster than the CAT-5 cable that formerly provided access to my home network. I really couldn't be happier with it. Fortunately, I did have an unused USB3 port on the back of the tower.

If you have an AC-capable router, make sure your devices are AC-capable as well to take advantage of the incredible speeds. This adapter allowed me to connect my computer and speeds are blazing fast. Range is above average for these types of adapters, especially when using the USB extension to position the adapter in an ideal place. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

this product works Awesome !!!it came with a very informative C D & it is a very very simple install !!!! it only took less than five Minutes to get it up & working !! my new computer wouldn't connect to the internet & this little attena plugs into the side of the lap top & its not a big or bulky item ! I highly recommend this if your having troubles connecting to wifi !!

The ability to split traffic amongst the various users into multiple channels has removed huge bottlenecks. Painless setup and excellent resources. Great product, highly recommend!

I just picked up the NETGEAR - Nighthawk X4 AC2350 (see my separate glowing review for that beast) and I am very pleased with this. I have some of the fastest speed I've ever seen. I'm two floors away from the router, and in addition, there are about 25 devices between me and the router. I have never left 5 bars since I set this up. Great purchase and I would highly recommend.

I have a professional editing computer that does not have wireless capabilities. I need something that was fast enough to upload rather large files and this adapter worked like a champ. In fact depending on the internet provider, it can upload even faster than my previous wired connection. It was also very easy to install and set up.

The NETGEAR A6210 comes with a desktop dock with a nonslip bottom that is useful to place the adapter in different positions, while looking for the best one to catch the strongest signal. It also includes a disc with the NETGEAR Genie software making the setup very easy. The software can be also downloaded from the NETGEAR website. The most important part during setup is `not' to plug the adapter until the software asks you to do so. Other than that, the setup process is smoothly and easy. The NETGEAR A6210 USB 3.0 interface is backward compatible with USB 2.0, and with 802.11 a/b/g/n routers. I owned a few wireless adapters and I am here to let you everyone know that I'm impressed with this adapter because of how fast and steady its signal is and the the signal strength is on point (very strong) and my router is on the second floor. Very stable connection and so far no hiccups. This is from a room that is exactly 50 feet from the router, and one floor above of it. Of course, the speed will also depend on the router one is using and the strength of the Internet service said router is connected to. So, if you are in the market for a Wi-Fi adapter, I highly recommend the NETGEAR A6210. So far I have been very impressed with Netgear and would buy this one again.

Gets all the juice out of my modem/router from Xfinity. Check attached pics!. Worth the money.

You do have to download (or from the provided disc) install the drivers, or you only get 1.5mbps down/0.2 mbps up speeds. Humorous once resolved. After that though, its smooth sailing. I've maintained a 5 bar signal from 75ft away through 4 walls at 60mbps on a 100mbps connection. I can't stress enough to convenience of this device. Very handy!

This device is an easy way to quickly add wifi to an older desktop Computer. It is easy to install and can use Windows 10 drivers or the drivers that at included. It could also extend the life of a laptop whose wifi has failed or is outdated. Good device.
