Easy set up. Just worked. Good range and speed even through two walls.

This device works amazing, it is actually faster when transferring over wireless AC than 1gbps wired connection, and the range on this is AMAZING I can pick up my connection from my neighbors house with almost the same speed

I had purchased another brand adapter that did not work for me at all and had to return it, but that one was plugged into the PC and not on a cord like this one. It was night and day switching to this one. My PC is upstairs and my router downstairs and this adapter can reach the router easily. I like that it has a cord and you can position it wherever you like vs. the adapters that plug into the PC like a USB stick and can't be pointed. I am running Windows 10 and this works well. It also never disconnects, I had that issue with an old adapter that wasn't compatible with Windows 10 which is why I had to get a new one. I''ve been using this adapter for 2 months now with no issues. I definitely recommend this adapter.

I moved my desktop system from downstairs to upstairs northwest from the modem. I could not get a signal. I called Best Buy they recommended the NetGear-AC1200 Wireless recepter. It plugs into the back of the hard drive no extra box sitting around the room and is working as if I was connected to the Modem. Exceptionally pleased.

Bought this to replace USB Adapter that was installed in new computer. Easy to install and setup, I had some doubts about advertised speed but downloads and uploads always test at high end of my internet service. difference between this one and factory installed is like going from dial up to cable.

The best usb wifi adapter BestBuy sells. When this is on sale it is well worth it. Not too laptop friendly, but these days almost 99% of laptops have an adapter already built in. Its signal is able to pass thru many walls and floors. Also the software is extremely easy to use for even the most non computer literate.

Instead of using the included CD I went to Netgear for the drivers - would have to update anyhow. Saw posts about Netgear drivers causing problems with this adapter on Windows 10. Plugged in the adapter, Windows installed the drivers and it runs perfectly. Took less than a minute to install. Works great.

The wireless network adapter is easy to install and my internet is quite fast on my PC. My modem is by my tv so I do not have to run a long ethernet cord over to the computer. Very neat appearance now and the adapter dock works great. It is also very tiny and inconspicuous. Highly recommended. Comp went from 54 mbs to 120ish.

Great Product! Turned my older Desktop (without a wireless adapter) into a 21st century desktop Wireless computer. Picked-Up my internet cable signal as soon as it installed (both 2.4 and 5.0 ). Shouldn't have purchased it. Now my other half said that there is no need to buy a new computer (Darn!).

I'm very impressed with this USB 3.0, 802.11ac, wireless adapter. I bought this for the new desktop I built as an alternative to running another Ethernet line. Works very well with my Netgear Nighthawk router. It's fast and I've yet to have a dropout. I'm happy, happy, happy with this purchase.

I am using this adapter for my two sons. They are sharing a network connection through one PC. Excellent strength. Connection of 350mb. No issues with online gaming. Computers are located on the opposite end of the house from the wireless router. 2500 square foot home.

I purchased this for my desktop after moving into my new home. I didn't want a cable stretched across the living room. I was a little worried that it would lag in the online games and surfing the Internet, but as of writing this, both are working just fine. This was definitely a good purchase.

I have a fairly new Dell laptop (2014) and assumed it had the latest wireless network card. When I upgraded my home internet to 100 MB my connection always maxed out at 50 MB. At first I thought my modem was bad, after swapping it out with no luck, I turned to my Dell. Instead of replacing the network card, I bought this USB wireless adapter. And whaddyaknow, 98MB on the speedtest site. I'm a happy camper!

I bought this to get my computer on the 5GHz network. This USB adapter is amazing. It is really easy to set up and it also has the dock so you can just set it on your desk somewhere and have it fully extended. I am now getting so much faster speeds than I was on the 2.4GHz network!

This WiFi receiver is better than any USB or PCI WiFi adapter I have ever had. It almost replaces a gigabyte connection...almost. Set up was a breeze. I liked it so much, I bought one for my son's computer.

I love this WiFi adpater, it uses AC signal so the range and speed is great, Combine that with an AC Router and the connection and speed would be at it's peak. Netgear for me has always been a solid brand. I use this for downloads of large files and also Online Gaming.

I recently got GoogleFibre installed at my house with a speed of 1000 Mbps. My laptop would only connect with its onboard adapter using 802.11b,g or n, and at 2.4 GHz. Therefore I had to purchase an external USB adapter to connect at 5GHz and AC. This adapter works well. It gives me speeds up and down of around 250 Mbps. I found this adapter to be superior to another one I tried. It is however, awkward as it sticks out about 3 inches from the side of my laptop. One positive thing about this adapter is it comes with a USB cable and dock for the adapter which can make this less of a problem.

I got this for my son for his new computer build and it works Great! He has no issues gaming and talking to friends at the same time. His frame rate is high and has no lag. The range is also good and it was an easy setup. I would definitely recommend this item.

The AC1200 is extremely easy to install. I couldn't believe how quickly I had it up and running. It's been a great option versus purchasing a card for my desk top. It maintains my premier speed and provides me with an alternative PC to make me more proficient in my home office.
