I have no complaints with this device. Setup was easy, although it wouldn't autoconnect with my Comcast service, so I have to cal the support line, but they got it straightened out in just a few minutes. Overall, I'm very happy with this device.

If you want the Nighthawk but are hesitant because your internet speeds don't go as fast as the nighthawk does, then this is what you want! I only pay for 150mbs and the 5ghz network gets 175 mbs on the other end of my APARTMENT.

The modem I was using before this kicked me and my family off of the internet consistently and quite often. I have been using this one for a while now and have yet to be kicked off. The speed is great and the connection in incredibly reliable and strong.

I wanted to wait for a convenient time to set up the connection because I wanted to be able to get support when troubleshooting. But there was no trouble to shoot! Simple and fast. And the performance is great.

I've been using the router for 8 months now, and while capable, it does seem to struggle when loaded with 10+ Wifi devices by my count. Speeds start to vary wildly given the different loads over Wifi, so I've relocated the router, so I can use the Ethernet instead. On Ethernet, there is a great increase in stability and speed, so I can be more certain that it is the router having issues with handling multiple Wifi devices. Range wise, the second floor seems to receive only adequate connection strength, with the router on the first floor.

Plugged in the router and setup took less than five minutes to hook up. The router instantly boosted our wifi signals throughout the apartment and had no more issues with buffering. Easily handles more than three devices at a time with no problems.

Price is good, netgear is one of the most trust products on the market.

I purchased this Netgear AC1600 modem/router to replace one that I was renting from my cable provider. What I was renting was an "N" modem/router. It was ok, but I needed something that was faster and with a larger bandwidth to accommodate multiple devices. It's been over a year and have had no problems whatsoever. There are 5 devices that are using the wifi and haven't had any problems with connection or interruptions. Initial set-up may take a while. It all depends on whether or not you can get thru to you cable provider. After notifying my cable provider that I will no longer be renting a modem/router from them, set-up was fast and easy. Just follow the directions in the enclosed manual. I am very satisfied with this modem/router, and highly recommend it!

Routers have come a long way in ease of setup. This model is no exception. I set this up in a matter of minutes, and Comcast was quickly able to associate it with my system. Coverage is pretty good.
