OK, not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hoping to get great extension and faster downloads with this router and i still ended up having to buy an extender as connectivity would be lost frequently in different spots in the house

Does okay but didn’t work great for gaming
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This seemed to not be all that great. My wifi was really slow no matter what I tried. I ended up just renting one through Cox.

Worked well for the first three weeks but then...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The unit we initially purchased worked well for the first three weeks but then began dropping internet. Resetting the unit and unplugging and plugging back in restored connection for several hours initially but then for less and less time until during week four it stopped transmitting internet all together. Replaced it with another "identical" unit and it has been working fine for two days now. We purchased this model because it was supposed to work with Comcast/Xfinity -- which is our provider.

Unstable Internet connection from the Modem
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Modem is not working properly. Internet keeps dropping every few mins and reconnects back. Same internet connection works well with Cox modem. Not satisfied with the product. Had tried rebooting and resetting the modem multiple times. Signal strength is good from the internet service provider and works well with other modem.

Would work okay for normal users
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The modem/router combo worked well and setup was easy but the speeds tend to slow down when the unit heats up. I needed a little bit more so I decided on a different product.

2.4GHz wifi flakey; Works on Cox
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 2.4GHz wifi would sometimes stop working for no apparent reason. Just switching over to the 5GHz wifi and everything is working fine, so it's most likely not the cable modem connection. Other than that, the router works as expected. Installation with Cox was okay. The technician did not know exactly how the service works and was not aware that the switch-over was not immediate. I just waited about half an hour after the technician entered all the new info for the modem and everything started working.

Easy Set-Up w/ a Catch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As stated, set-up was fairly straight forward with minimal issues. The problem is that it is advertised to work great with Comcast blast speed internet, which I have had for years. Since I replaced my rented modem/router with this unit, I have noticed a drastic decrease in my internet speed. Buyer beware if you are picky about your speed. There may be some tips or tricks out there to boost up the speed, but so far, I haven't found anything super effective.

You get what you pay for
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not impressed with this router. Says it is made for larger homes. My house is definitely not large and it couldn't reach all of my devices. I believe it says it supposed to be able to support up to 20 or 25 devices. I have 19 and it kept dropping some of my devices. It also kept dropping the 5GHz signal and when the signal was available it was extremely slow.

Good for small apartments
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is very good for small apartments where there are no too many walls. The range is compromised if there are too many walls.
