    I bought this as i had comcast services. It didn’t work very well for me. Not fast enough.

    No one in this area of store to ask questions about my needs. Took product to front and was told that it would restore my internet service at home Bought it took it home and it did not work Heated up and smelled strongly of electric motor type smell Went back bought another item and it worked perfectly Still trying to find receipt and get my money back

    Both networks drop 4-5 times a day, usually when I'm the only device connected, using my laptop for work. Very disappointed with this product and went with something else,I purchased this in 8/20 so not very old. Pay a little more and get something that works. I did.

    Modem works fine. The router provides a TERRIBLY WEAK wifi signal.

    The girl that helped me was nice but the modem/router signal barely reached our tv. Our ring says poor connection. Our house is 2000 sq ft. Too big for this item. Will return

    Even Netgear's (hard to get to!) tech support could not diagnose this machine's problems - it would only stay connected to the computers for a few seconds at a time - so it got returned and will be replaced by ANY brand but Netgear - when their advice is to return it to the store, they are't interested in finding out what's wrong.

    Router was unusable

    I never got a chance to see if this router worked well or not. When the Xfinity tech came to set up my internet, he tried to register the router and was told the MAC address was already in use and “disabled”. I had to return it. At least that was hassle free.

    broke after like 6 months

    I bought this like a year ago. it worked perfectly for like 6 months, since the 6 month mark it has been turning off multiple times a day for like 5 minutes and like 20 - 70 times a day. it's terrible don't buy this

    Sorrowfully, purchased this recommended product to utilize with Comcast cable. Turns out, even though had used Comcast before, Comcast tech had cut connection & no longer able to utilize. Therefore, Netgear Router not useable, and unreturnable due to over 15 day rule. :(

    There were no real instructions on how to replace the prior one from my cable company with this one. Hate it when manufacturers assume prior knowledge. Not everyone is well versed in the newer electronics, especially if you're over 40. Include more complete instructions!

    Kept dropping wifi signal during Zoom calls, and resetting itself when it would get unplugged. Using it now as a modem since I missed my return period.

    Not the right fit for us

    Maybe it just wasn't the right fit for us in the location we are in and having Mediacom internet service. Internet seemed to slow down and buffer tremendously! Ended up having to return product.

    Always loose WiFi and just after one year completely not working the WiFi. Do not buy. Waste of money.
