easy to setup. great speeds. no down time. Not much more to say about it. It's a decently priced mid range cable modem.

It works well and it is less expensive than renting one. We have Xfinity and the speed is pretty good. We sometimes have to restart it which is easy to do. We are happy with the purchase.

I picked up this little jewel about a month or so ago and haven't come upon any issues thus far. The only shortcoming I've noticed is my internet provider. The product works as advertised. Give it a shot!

My gf and I got this for our new place. We live in a forested area that only offers At&t and Xfinity. Went with Xfinity and thought this was a better option as opposed to renting their equipment. Have been really pleased with our connection speeds after a month. Setup was easy. We have it in a somewhat hidden away space, but even if it had to be in a space where we always have to look at it, I wouldn't mind. Looks nice and works as advertised. Got great in person service as well, but can't recall the employees name who was covering this section of the store.

Based on recommendation from Best Buy employee, I purchased the Netgear AC1600. I found this to be a much better modem/ router then my previous purchase. It never drops the WiFi signal, no interference and strong reception throughout the house both 1st and 2nd levels. I strongly recommend this product!

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter. She hooked it up very quickly and immediately her wifi was working. No need to call Comcast. She says it works great and she's very happy with it.

I like the product. Easy to setup. I can created a guest secure wifi. It's work well with Comcast. It's should help save the leasing cost. And protect family, friends and guests with secure connections.

Easy set up with Comcast and flawless performance. There was no call to Comcast required. All done automatically. Love it!!!

Thought it would be harder than it was to hook up. No problems at all. Very user friendly. Works well throughout the whole house with multiple users satisfied with it.

I have to give this product 5 stars absolutely!! I replaced this router in lieu of X-Finity's standard issue router/modem combo and I see all the difference in the world with the speed of this device!! It has both 2.4 Ghz or 5G speeds and believe the download and upload speeds for all our different devices, including desktop, laptop, chrome book, mobile devices and tablets is lightning fast. I never before been so satisfied with a piece of equipment as I am with this one!! I highly recommend it to anyone who either one or multiple devices running on their network!!

This product has a modem within it, therefore to hook it up with Charter’s service I had to just have the router... not the router and modem! Tried asking Charter if I could still use it and just not use their modem and they said no. So either Charter doesn’t know what they’re doing (leaning more towards this option), or this combo is kind of pointless. The guy at Best Buy was great at helping me find just what I needed tho! I never got to test it out beyond trying to set it up (and finding out that it doesn’t work). Not sure where or how this product is used because I had to have two separate devices (a router and a modem... not a combo). Someone also told me at Best Buy that the combos are slower and not as good as buying them separately... never found this out myself but that’s what he told me.

Basically didnt want to rent from xFinity so bought this. Setup was beyond easy and performance has been rock solid. Really a decent piece of kit for the price. I highly recommend.

This Router / Modem works very well. It is powerful and it reaches every device in my home with ease. I definitely recommend this item to all. Easy setup and use.

Does exactly what it needs to do works great. Easily connects and it is pretty reliable. Haven't had any issues with it as of yet.

I have had NO trouble with the router. It sets on my self and does its thing, get me fast internet! I have used Netgear before and have been very satisfied with the product.

Never had any issues. Fast internet. Used in an 975 sq ft apartment and internet reached an RV sitting out in front of the apartment.

Router was easy to install and setup: steady coverage and no service interruptions. The speed is great and no lapse in streaming movies . Internet speed is good.

So happy to eliminate the monthly Xfinity charge for rental of the same kind of device. This one is smaller and even looks sharp with its slim, curved lines.

This model router was easy to setup and within minutes replaced a modem Comcast didn't like. It has better but not perfect coverage in our rambler style house.

I'm a techie kind of guy who despises difficult setups. I can do it but I always think about the others who are less technical who have to jump through hoops. ...This Netgear AC1600 router is superb, not only in its operation but also in its setup. Easy-breezy describes things perfectly. Also, *love* the fact that Netgear now assigns each router/wifi from its factory with unique usernames and passwords. It saves people from themselves!
