I love this router. It works way better than any that Comcast provided to me. I used to have to reset the router weekly with Comcast. I have had to do it twice since I bought this one over a year ago. And that is just for maintenance. If you are still with Comcast, this pays for itself in just over a year when you can take the rental fees off your bill and it works 1000 times better.

I wasn't interested in paying $10 a month for a wireless router for my new Spectrum internet service so I purchased the Netgear AC1600. It has both 4g and 5g because as much downloading and uptime my family has on the internet, we needed a router that could handle the load. This unit does the job without a drop of sweat. And in 15 months, I will no longer be paying a rental fee for a wireless router!

Better coverage and no buffering plus more ports. Connected quickly and much smaller than xfinity modem. Great buy.

I purchased this modem for my newly increased internet speeds; but found the wifi didn't broadcast when my smart tv or game console was hard lined into the unit. I later found it was not a defect of the modem/router, but something with other devices or the internet service I subscribed to, and I had to return the unit and go back to using my old one. If I didn't have unique issues mentioned above, I would still have it. It's design is sleek and is easy to hide in plain sight.

Solid connections and blazing speeds. I have coverage all through my 2500 sq.ft. home and all around my 1/4 acre property.

Replaced my xfinity unit with this one. Easy to setup. Works better than cable co. Unit. Money saver after a year.

This is a very good buy. It is very simple to setup and has good coverage distance. Overall I can rate it 4 out of 5. 1 star less because of the price. It could have been little cheaper. But I loved it.

Wish it has 4 switchports instead of only 2. I like the size and range of this device.

No monthly fees anymore! Works like a charme.Covers the whole house and outside porch. It was very easy to set up. And I'm no expert. No call to Comcast necessary! Very easy to connect phone, printer.

Replaced the twc router and modem with this recommended combo and it works great but I get knocked off line a lot by twc.

Easy to set up and use. Faster then the internet providers rental. Should break even on cost in about a year vs rental.

Worth the investment. I saw a 20% increase in overall download speed, thanks to bonded channel technology, with this all in one home network solution. WiFi range is also excellent throughout my house (2100 sq ft single story). Easy to set up and connectivity is ultra reliable when I compare to previous Netgear routers I've owned.
