I bought this gift for myself .. Was tired of paying a fee to rent a modem from Comcast , so I decided to go to Best buy & buy one for myself ! This modem will save me tons of money in the long run !

This product was not even the original one I went to the store for. I am glad the Best Buy employee talked me into this one instead. My only negative is that it does not have a telephone jack. So, I still have to use my Time Warner Modem Router along with it because I have a landline (due to having home office fax.) The signal strength of the Netgear is great, regardless of where I'm at in the house. This is more than I can say for the TWC one.

I bought this router for my daughter who lives alone so there's no need for multiple radios. We took it out of the box and connected to the cable outlet but the cable had disconnected the service because the previous tenant defaulted. Once the cable got reconnected, the modem started working with no problems. The combination modem-wireless modem is great. It saves money on the monthly ISP bill. She is able to stream Netflix and browse the Internet at the same time without any problems.

A good strong signal and has a good range to it. Being a one unit instead of 2 make it much simpler.

Works fine with Grande Communications. Easy to set up. Wifi range was decent but ended up going with a Motorola router with quicker wifi down load speeds and greater range but at a much higher price.

My old modem and router went kaput! So it was a hard decision between combos or a separate modem and router. I found this one for $50 off! Couldn't pass up the deal. After installing it and activating it with the ISP and reconnecting all my wireless devices to the new router it all works greag speeds are fast and no connection loss no lag. I would highly recommend the product.

I read the reviews prior to purchase and totally agree that it is easy setup and strong signal. Definitely recommend!

This is my first ever modem/router I've ever bought. Usually I just went with the internet providers tech, but I was tired of paying their fees. This modem is great. A ton of channels to pick from and two reliable speed settings. I usually stick with the 5G, tends to work better and isn't as overloaded as the 2.4. I give it 4 stars because it only has two Ethernet ports. If you want 4 or more you can upgrade to the bigger one for I believe $50 more. Great product!

I purchased this router for our Cox internet service, and it has been mostly good. The router covers 2,450 sq.ft. of a two-story house very well on multiple devices streaming content simultaneously. In the last year, I have had to reset the router only two times. Some of the problems might be attributed to the Cox service in our area, so I don't want to make someone feel like this is not a good router. I recommend this router.

I am so happy that I purchased this router it has saved me tons of money. I am able to take advantage of the high-speed Internet I get through Xfinity and I no longer have to pay the rental fees that I paid prior to this purchase. I’ve had this router for almost 2 years and I have only had to replace the power cord, but the router itself works great. I would recommend this to a friend.

My previous Netgear N300 modem/router was a tall design with a small base. Once cables were connected to it, the unit could easily be pulled over and crash to the floor. The AC1600 is designed with all of the cable connections at the bottom of the unit so the weight of the cables will not tip it over. As for performance, I could barely get a good signal at the far end of the house with my old modem. I get a strong 5G signal in this same location with the AC1600.

Very easy to set up great range for a small apartment. Have had now for over a month and haven't had any problems.

This modem/router works great, have had no real issues with it so far. The range is a little weak (signal is weak on opposite end of house) compared to other routers I've used before, but I might be able to change this by going into the settings and tinkering with the signal strength. The Genie app that comes with the router is great, you have almost all the same features available on your phone app as you do when you go into the router's settings via the IP address.

Good option . Reliable. Reasonable price . Haven’t had to restart often like other modems .
