just works great. no problems. been using now for several weeks. very easy to set up. has good coverage through the whole house.. I love it and I don't have to pay the cable company to rent theirs.

Bought this Netgear Cable Modem Router AC1600 to upgrade my 10-year old Cable Modem Router. Setup is easy. Just follow the instructions that came with the box. My internet is Spectrum and the setup instruction that came with the box gives you the website where you need to start. There is no need to call Spectrum tech support when I switched my new router. Speed has awesomely improved. Watching Amazon and Netflix streams well and no longer lags behind. I would recommend this to my friends for upgrade.

Bought this for lowest price from Best Buy compared to others. It is working very nice, no issues at all, strong signal throughout the house with great speed

I researched for a couple of days, looking for compatibility, good reviews and a good value overall. My intention was to return my provider's modem so that I could rid my bill of the monthly rental fee. Setup with Comcast/Xfinity was simple. If you purchase this item call them with mac address readily available and it should be a breeze for you as it was for me. This modem has been great so far and the Netgear app to make changes has a simple and user friendly interface. I recommend this device. My home is 1200 sq. feet and coverage is not an issue.

I bought this modem to get out of renting one from the cable company. It currently lives on the main level of a 3 story townhouse and can support 3 phones, a lap top, and 3 smart TVs regardless of where they are in the house. Glad I got it. Bonus-it was on sale.

We are very happy with this modem router. The install was incredibly simple and it's been working great. It's also small, light and looks nice on the desk.

For a combo modem / router this thing performs incredibly. It's extremely fast. In fact, much faster than the Motorola one I was using before. Also; the UI to set it up and configure all the options is great. It's very easy to set what you want it to do.

Only thing I regret is that is has no phone output. My mistake for not checking prior to purchase. Gives good coverage and good speed. Very reasonable price.

This modem/router was easy to install for a novice, and had steps all set up for connection to Comcast/xfinity. I was able to return my Comcast device and lower my bill. It also takes up less room. I did get a new USB WIFI "antenna" for our old desktop ($16) because that wasn't able to connect. But its connection was spotty even before the new device, and other devices didn't have any problem connecting (laptops, phones, etc.), so not sure if everyone would need that for older devices. Everything's working great now.

After getting this properly hooked up, I've had no issues with the unit. As mentioned in the title, I wish the price was a little less, but the unit works well, is fairly easy to set up and to manage. Netgear has a mobile application for you to manage your router on the go. I really like how it has the modem and router combination in it so I don't need to different devices. The range seems to be great on the router. I don't have equipment to test speeds, but seems to be ok for my normal uses with occasional video, emails, etc.

Bought it for a friend, fast and easy to set up, covers the whole house.

I had to but another router since the last one I had finally quit. This one is so much easier to setup and change settings. I didn't have to call the cable company to chance from their rented one to this one. I would recommend to anyone.

Purchased this router to replace an outdated router provided by the internet provider that quit working. Although we did not install it, had to return this router as it wasn't compatible with the internet provider service. Had to wait a week for the internet provider to send us a replacement router. Thanks BB for the return.

Tired of paying Comcast to rent their modem? Buy this one, setup is very easy without needing to call Comcast. Speed increase shown across and no drop offs in different rooms. You can spend more money but why? 150 down and your streaming to many different devices without buffering. Look at Best Buy’s recycling program too, sometimes you can bring in your old computer network devices and they will give you 15% off the purchase. That’s a win and now your not renting Comcast’s modem and saving $11 a month.

Comcast sent me a message that my old modem would not be able to handel their signal. Went to Best Buy, discussed with technician on which modem to buy. He recommended this one, So far it has performed better than expected.
