Had the Netgear router for around 7 months. It worked mostly well until one day it just completely stopped altogether. Would not get power at all. Went to the store, and they exchanged it on site versus having to deal with sending it to the manufacturer. New one is working fine. Could have been a power surge?? Supports the smart tv, computer, iPad, and phones. Works well with all devices except the smart tv, which is sometimes slow. However, I think it's the tv and not the router. Overall, happy with the purchase.

This works with Xfinity. Replaced rental. Works great on the 5G signal in a one story house. No issues and set up was easy.

I bought this with second thoughts but I can honestly say this thing is awesome, my internet is so much better now 0 lag! I love it!

After being "victims" of the cable company for years, we decided we should look for areas of savings. The hubster went over to Best Buy and was assisted by one if the associates who, after qualifying him, recommended the NETGEAR AC1600. This router is amazingly easy to setup and works like a charm. We have had this for almost two months now and we are recognizing the savings from the cable company and the reliability of a great router! This router dies not accommodate telephone connections. Great purchase!

I was hesitant to purchase a modem and router in one box but happily surprised with this Netgear. Easy to setup and maintain. It has an app you can control using your phone or just log into the web site. Was on wifi within minutes and had my phones, laptops and tvs all synched up to this unit with no concerns. Very happy with the speed and quality. I am using it with Xfinity.

Reliable internet for computer, phone, printer, and PS5!

Fairly easy to set up and I get good coverage in the house. I also got the booster and it works well, but it has a different password so I have to switch connections when the booster is the best option. There's probably a way to avoid this but they didn't make that obvious as I was installing from the instructions.

Product is easy to install and is small & slick so look so good in the room!

I needed this modem/router to take advantage of my providers 200 Mbps internet connection. It runs strong and hasn't even hiccuped once since it was first turned on a little over two months ago.

My first router purchase-I always rented from the cable company. Now, I'm saving that monthly fee! It's compatible with my cable provider, and affordable. It's mobile, small, and lite weight--and so simple to install. There are different models to choose from but right now I'm only using it for my cell phone & a laptop so its speed & reliability has been spot-on! I'm very happy with my purchase and it's saving me $

Very happy with this purchase! I'm in a cost-cutting/money saving process and recently cut out cable to go with just internet service and a couple of streaming options (saved well over $100/month in the process!). Part of that was getting rid of an $11/month rental fee for the modem. This was very easy to install, however there are a couple of things you should know: 1 - you have to activate your modem/router before you can set up your network info (in the instructions they have this backwards) 2 - I had an issue where I couldn't get the network to show up on my list of available networks, even after Comcast had provisioned the modem. Turns out that the WiFi button on the side of the modem had been turned off, so even though the network was active it wasn't broadcasting. Hold down the button for 3-4 seconds and suddenly everything worked great. I wish they would have mentioned that in the instruction manual and I could have saved myself 10 minutes on the phone with Comcast.

Had a great salesman "Tanner" at the Gilbert AZ store recommend this and he knew exactly what we needed to upgrade our internet download/upload speeds. This Netgear AC1600 with its 5G is super! We were renting for the past 5 years a modem from our cable provider and decided now it was smarter and more cost-effective to BUY the modem (we could have saved hundreds of dollars in 5 yrs by owning our modem). We upgraded our internet provider download speed to 100 mbps and with this Netgear modem we get approx 99 mbps on a new laptop with Intel gen8 core i5 and on an "ancient" core 13 Intel we are getting about 50 mbps download. Upload speed on both is between 4 and 5 mbps. We are considering getting rid of our Cable TV service and going with Roku/HULU streaming in the near future. This modem was recommended to also handle this capability since we do not have a smart TV. Thanks to Tanner at Gilbert AZ for great, knowledgeable customer service!

I recently purchased a Netgear AC1600 router to support my internet, TV, and phone bundle from Tim Warner. With the 1600 speed, I can accommodate multiple devices effectively. It's great owning my own router to support my internet, TV, and phone; in this way, I avoid the $10 monthly fee to rent a router from Time Warner. Switching to Time Warner at a great bundle price was a great decision since the representatives are very knowledgeable and explain all the details in the bundle. Their recommendation to purchase my own router was a great idea.

Easy to setup. Compatible with Comcast. Unobtrusive. Reasonable cost. Only two outputs a limitation.

I live in a 3 story townhouse and I have the router on the middle floor. I have not had any trouble with internet anywhere in the house. It actually reaches a nice distance outside.
